When resolutions fail… round up the usual suspects Is disaster
imminent, or are we verging on ascension? We are at the beginning of
another new year, 2003. The pundits and predictors tell us that it will
be a monumental time. I wonder, is that because it is the year 2003,
or have we simply evolved, migrated, developed to a state where cosmic
forces are aligned to shake us up a bit? |

Sound healing, as the name implies, is the use of sound to create balance and alignment in: the physical body, the energy centers called "chakras", and/or the etheric fields. The sound may be applied by an instrument or by the human voice. Sound Healing is a vibrational therapy and can be understood as being energy medicine. |

|
Jesus said: “Unless ye become as little children, ye shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” I am inclined to agree with him on that. But even that is beside my point here. The “Imagine Nation” is a society built on Oneness, and an appreciation for our infinite collective diversity. It doesn’t place kids at the center of things. Rather, it is designed to even the playing field so that natural giftedness can move forward at whatever age it appears. Some of the principles discussed will have great meaning in regards to our senior citizens, as well. |

Guilt is probably one of the most debilitating and negative emotions there is – one that can, and often does, destroy a person’s life. But if we want to live happy lives, we need to deal with the consequences of our past actions and move on, rather than allowing our lives to be wracked with guilt. |

Many of you may feel you are living in a loving world, but most of you have understood by now how many things seem to have gone astray from what you clearly saw or believed was reality before you. For some, there is enormous discouragement in your hearts that these higher consciousnesses or awarenesses have not taken hold fully; that enormous discrepancy exists in the way life is perceived or what one grabs hold of and what one chooses to maintain or even create on this planet. |

One of my first really special crystals was one that I found on the internet at a site owned by Stuart Schmitt of The Sweet Surrender Crystal Mine. I had seen a very handsome looking manifestation quartz among the many pictures on his site and called to ask about it. It had gone, he said, but he had just dug up a half pound Dow crystal that he thought might be just the ticket for me. It was $55 bucks, and normally I am skeptical about buying something like this, sight unseen, but I heard myself say yes, please send it. |

Someone who had a profound effect on the world through a deliberate statement made on one of the most watched programs televised to the world, is Richard Gere. On the occasion of the Academy Awards Oscar show in 1993, he commented on, and decried the Chinese invasion of Tibet. Most likely, Richard Gere was aware of the personal difficulties he would face in terms of his career as a result of his bold comments. |

"Far From Heaven" is a miraculous, beautiful, original, haunting, provocative, and extraordinary film - and that may be the understatement of the year. Set in 1957, the film is shot as though it was actually MADE in 1957. Gorgeous technicolor techniques have been utilized, the film score is evocative of that decade, and the entire creative team lovingly created a 1950's look that is dazzling to behold. If you've never seen the leaves turn in New England in the Fall, this film is awfully close to being there. |

As we enter this new year, we all want to change our lives for the better. The question is, how? There are two ways you can change your life: (1) Change your conditions; and (2) Change your mind. Sometimes you can change your conditions. Always you can change your mind. Ultimately, mastering your mind yields far more success and reward than rearranging conditions. Perhaps you have heard about the fellow who was losing coins out of a hole in his pocket, so he went out and got a second job to replace the coins. He didn’t realize how much more helpful it would have been to simply sew the hole! |

The New Year truly begins as the sun enters Capricorn at the Winter Solstice on December 21, which marks a “still point” in time, and the shortest day of the year. |
