| Continuing where we left off in last month's article...
WITHIN THE MIND OF MAN is a field of Infinite Potential,
and many bands (as I call them) are in this field. To me, these bands
look like the rings of Saturn. In the first band - which I call the
outer band - is potential realized by the perceiver. This is what is
dancing for him in his periphery. This is where he does his daily shopping;
where he goes to activate his cells to make his day be what it has always
been. Once this occurs, he can begin to venture beyond his predisposed outer band to the next band of potential that is different from the one he was used to, but still resembles what was. As he ventures through this field, he starts to see what was less and less and what is more and more. Eventually, what was will die off because of lack of attention, and then, he will be in a parallel reality. He may or may not look the same, and the street he lives on may still be the same street, but everything looks new, and he feels different. Once one awakens, many other ones will also awaken to this knowledge, then all will. The way we see the effect of our changed perception is to look out into our world - starting with our own bodies - and as we do, we begin to see that we do not look the same. Our bodies seem different. Our world will appear to be new, initially, but before long, it becomes comfortable. Often, the change isn't at all uncomfortable because we have given ourselves enough time to assimilate, and we become what we have desired to see before we do, in fact, see the change. With this idea in mind, now I can see why sometimes conscious intent seems to take time. It is as if we truly need to become one with the desire before we can see it manifest in our world. As
we evolve in awareness, we begin to see change occur in our periphery
(outer band), and eventually we evolve into another realm of being. In A Course in Miracles, we are told that, in the unconscious state, one can only make what has happened before happen again. The act of creating comes from present moment awareness. This is where The Source of all decides what we will see. His will is our will, as taught in A Course in Miracles, so that, in every moment, we are unconscious. We will block what is given by focusing on what was. Choose
Your Universe. In
ACIM, we are repeatedly told to be vigilant for God and His
Kingdom, which I believe is the place where we are one with Present
Moment Awareness. A place where we are actually innocent and dependant
on The Higher Mind to care for us. In this state, we can be authentically
Joyous. Follow
Your Bliss. After meeting The Dali Lama years ago and having the opportunity to talk with him personally, a friend of mine shared with me that, when she asked him what her life's purpose was, he responded by asking her; "What brings you the most joy?" ..."That is your life's purpose." Simple but true that, when we are in Joy, there is no room for fear or any of the effects of a fearful mind. Children are in joy when they are very young. It seems that they are always giggling and smiling, and all seems happy in their company. Blessed
are the meek, for the will inherit the earth. Meek is being innocent and judgement free. Opinion plays no part in the mind of the meek, for they are one with their Father's Love Nature. They are his chidren with whom he is well pleased. I am always reminded of The Prodigal Son parable. It is my belief that the bible is metaphoric in truth, and that, anytime we have gone astray in our mind, we can remember this story of the son who strayed from his father's Kingdom. He squandered all he was given by his father. When he returned home, thinking and feeling that he would be punished for his doings, finds instead a father who treats him like the prince he is. Joy is a celebration of fulfillment. It is a way to pay homage to the Universal Intelligence for giving us what we require in every moment. Joy has no contingencies - It just knows it is good... great even. Circumstances need not be anything special for joy to be itself. Joy just is... Joy brings forth fulfillment. With this idea as a guide, why would anyone work on anything inside or outside of self but to be joyous?
Where do you desire to be? What does it look like? Decide, and then go there - In your mind, and your heart will follow...In no time, or in time itself, your intent will come to pass.
Our world is a mirror of what is hidden within us. What we see outside of us is what we wear inside of us. Do you like what you see?...If not, choose again! You are The Maker. God is The Creator.
