ARE YOU A BLEEDING HEART?
In our spiritual circles we speak about the importance of “opening our heart”. In fact, at this particular moment in the spiritual evolution of humanity, it’s a mantra without end. “Remember to open your heart”…”Love the negative situation into your heart, embrace it and become one with it.” But instead of being a bridge to truth, and "deepening awareness" of the heart, we often give our negative situations a glance and hurriedly move on to our next diversion. Rather than give the negative systems a long loving embrace and meet them face to face, deepening the kiss, what we give them is more like a quick "peck" on the cheek and head on out the door.

How long will we go on without deepening that lover's kiss? How long will we keep living on the surface, and ignoring the opportunity we've created globally? How long will we go on without deeper investigation of the perceived negative situation in our world, in our lives, and ingoring the continuous call to a deeper truth? And yes, It is a continuous call. Feel it here, now? How deeply can you kiss your very own soul?

MY HEART IS BREAKING
What if the pain, emotional bloodshed and conflict between your mind and heart, the cacophony of emotions that at times feels the very definition of torture, is precisely what living with an open heart is? What if the perception of a negative experience, was really just another gift of love? What if the whole experience of pain is the deepening of the spiritual kiss? “It is,” I hear many of you say, and I agree. But let’s go deeper with this.

If you knew that the pain, the longing, the great loss, the world's suffering, the joy, the laughter, the anger, ...the entire spectrum of chaos of emotion that we experience each day, each hour, each moment, is the most precious jewel in the human experience…would you continue trying to avoid and escape it? Would you continue to try and "dull" your feelings, or cover them with some sort of garment of activity? Would there truly be a need for healing, if you knew that what your mind was interpreting as pain, was just the glorious beauty of experiencing an “open” human heart.

Would you, could you, sit with your skinless torn-open heart and unveil each and every layer to the painful breaths, and along the way gradually redefine your life's meaning? Could you then cast the light from that passion out in the world today by way of your own smile? What do you think the hold-down is to our ascension and the manifestation of world peace? The real question here is “are we committed deeply enough to our own personal ascension that we will venture where many still fear to tread?”

I believe that for most of us, if we are aware of our heart at all, we are aware that our heart is raw, naked and feels torn open. And it’s precisely that overwhelming feeling of an "exposed wound" when we gaze out at our world’s crisis’, that IS the open heart. We’re just sadly conditioned to consolidate our emotions and then classify that, (the “all inclusive” and at times enormous empty ache), and place it in the category of pain.

IT'S KILLING ME
We often then rate the pain on a scale of what 'is' and what 'is not' acceptable. In doing this, it might also be said that we’ve become polarized to one side of our perception. We're taking a futile stand against what is ONE. This is the energetic basis that manifests the act of war and can be easily seen in our world right now. We take a myriad of feelings, identify the “overload” as discomfort, and from the moment of that decision, (however consciously or not), we often shut down our capacity to express compassionate action in the physical world. It's time for patience now. It's time for us to slow down our movements and look deeper into the mirror of creation.

I WANT OUT
This timeline we are traversing is asking us to open up pandora’s box and sort through the many emotional trinkets perceived and resonating within our hearts. This timeline is blessed with an internal spaciousness that defies conventional wisdom in many regards. We’d all do well to accept that and then humbly begin telling the new truth. The basic point that I’m trying to make is that many of the emotions we experience in a day, in an hour, or five minutes, are labeled incorrectly. They were correctly labeled long ago, but those definitions are no longer valid and need to be revisited. We've fallen into the trap of our own human conditioning over years and lifetimes…and it’s now time to remove the shell of our precious emotions and investigate the here and now found within each breath. It’s time to tell the "wholistic truth."

How does one recognize life's wholistic truth? We embrace the whole system of our current paradigm authentically. We break the chain of our emotional conditioning by living each moment as though “This is a first!” for me. By greeting each moment, each day with the freshness and innocence that a child carries we then open to living authentic lives. This type of living requires a spiritual passion, a great desire for uncovering the unseen, coupled with a respect for the imagination. This activity is the key to a peacefilled world. Are you one of the driven? How great is your desire to embrace your own ascension?

During the month of June, at this challenging time in history I hope you’ll continue to temper the balance of your mind, body, and soul, by utilizing your favorite musical selections. There are gifts to be found in every sound of life when one is living authentically. Why not dance and laugh with your loved ones today as though you will never have this chance again?

In love's freedom,
Aven

Healing Collection III
A variety of artists from Pacific Moon

From the onset, the intro, Back to Tokyo, the sweetest, most sincere sounds of emotional intimacy begin to reverberate through the listener's heart. Gentle percussion rifts, refreshing sensations, and mysterious tapestries of human experience begin to enfold thought, creating time. The silence supporting these traditional Japanese sounds is as important as the gift of music itself.

Remember the first bite of your favorite fruit the moment it comes into season, the savoring of the sweetness of a peace ripe from the vine? This eloquent compilation has many moments that feel to be the sweetest in memory. Paddling down the thoroughfare of life's stream, surrounded by the beautiful diversity of our human nature. Watching the newborn child of the universe as it stretches the arms wide to reach for the light inside. This collection provides an elegant backdrop for a multitude of settings. Life is the greatest epic adventure ever known and the companion of this music sets the stage for deepening the kiss of each day, of each night.

Let Me Make Music In Your Life
Cynthia Hart

There is great depth in these lovesongs. Cynthia's vocal poise and rich instrumentation of life, love, healing, and at times New Age storytelling of Lemuria and Atlantis, is set to a lovely backdrop of wholesome interpretation. While this is not music that I personally enjoy, or a voice that works its magic on me, it is nice music nonetheless. I believe that many of you, particularly seniors will find it very soothing and special accompaniment to those quiet days spent indoors away from the clammer of today's world.

Having a wonderfully wide background in singing and songwriting, Cynthia has performed for many years of her life touring and sharing stages with famous acts like Tina Turner, Aerosmith, James Taylor, and Lynyrd Skynyrd among many. Having shared this, I want you to know this album is Adult Contemporary music and has little, if any resemblance to the forementioned. She has clearly embarked on her own spiritual journey, exhibiting a great passion for expressing her soul through more delicate music.
