"SOUNDS
LIKE LOVE TO ME. Sounds like you're ready for a change. Sounds
like you're on top of the world! Sounds like you're angry. Sounds like
fun. Sounds like you're in fear."
Virtually every thing around us (including our own physical body) emanates
sound, so how is it that we deduce from our environment, formulating
individual perceptions from the sounds made by others and the world
in general that envelops us? Let's come back to this question.
In the beginning... was the word. How aware are
you that sound can create order out of chaos? All our naturally occurring
forms and shapes, from large bodies such as planets and stars, down
to microscopic particles, are each created from intelligently organized
standing waveforms. These waveforms possess precise structure and symmetry.
Sound like the scientific study of Cymatics? It is.
Have you ever been to a science museum and played with sound? Have you
ever watched fine sands or talc on a vibrating surface, noting how each
different frequency causes the formation of beautiful and precise geometric
patterns to be formed by the particles? Carefully turning the volume
and altering the frequency causes the displayed patterns to shift and
evolve. A selection of different frequencies playing together will generate
increasingly complex patterns as well as rotational & spiraling
movements, which can be compared to galaxies and solar systems.
Did you know that if you have two harps positioned directly one facing
the other, if you pluck any single string on one of them, that the other
will begin to vibrate in unison without having been struck? The same
will take place with crystal bowls, and even our emotions. This is called
sympathetic vibration.
So
how is it that we arrive at our conclusions of each other and the world
around us? It's all in the music. The
next time you're conversing with someone, why not listen to them from
the perspective that they are a living concerto? For in deepest truth,
you and they, are nothing short of it.
Life is a song in motion!

Emotional
Technology
BT
When you inquire who the master of trance techno, electro-dance
music is, there is no question that the answer is BT. His innovation
and versatility are unmatched, and he continues to express great skill,
raising the bar once again with his latest creation, Emotional
Technology.
Throughout the album one cannot help but feel such bright inspirational
movement emanating from the heart of his work. Part of his great success
in working with artists like Peter Gabriel, Madonna, and Seal is that
he has perfected the art of collaboration. Once again, Emotional Technology
offers a wide variety of vocal talent. The result is an album full
of fascinating turns, twists, and shimmering highlights. I haven't
been so joyfully motivated at the gym since his compelling hit, "Blue
Skies" that featured Tori Amos. If you enjoy a high spirited,
synthesizer generated infusion of very modern dance music to keep
your motivation in shape, this is for you.

Bathtime With
Loop
Guru
How do
you like your ambient music? If a "global village" shuffle
intrigues you then Loop Guru will more than satisfy.
How can I describe a band that has mixed Ram Dass and William Burroughs
excerpts, ambient jungle rhythms, Middle Eastern drum beats, pop culture
samples, transcendental remixes, deconstructed dance music, and more
chanting than the monks of Tibet? Employing a dexterous combination
of old world instruments and vocals featuring new technology, Loop
Guru is a protein-packed carbonated smoothie for the mind.
Bathtime
With is an exotic journey through Loop Gurus own quirky,
meandering, special effects universe. With an extremely fun variety
of musical tapestries offered, it's a wonderfully entertaining landscape
to lose oneself. Take a quick listen to the sound samples offered
at the Amazon link below. While there are some good clips provided,
the best are kept secret, stored in the second half of the album.
Expand your musical tastes and enjoy the everyday sounds of life!
For it is all spiritual; it is all One!
Until we meet again!
