Positive Thinking the Kahuna Way

THE KAHUNA HAVE a prayer: “Let that which is unknown become known.” Your unconscious thoughts as well as your conscious ones are producing results. That is exactly why you get weird results in your life that you didn’t believe you wanted or needed. How can you change your unconscious, sabotaging thoughts when you don’t even know what they are and when, by their nature, unconscious thoughts are hidden?
At the core of the kahuna way is remembering to always think and speak positively. The following are principles that can change your life by using your thoughts:

l. You create your own reality . . . every part of it. You create it through your own beliefs, expectations, attitudes, desires, fears, judgments, interpretations, feelings, and especially persistent thoughts.

2. You get what you concentrate on.

3. You are responsible for your own experience.

4. Thoughts will telepathically attract their equivalents:

a) Positive thoughts attract positive people and events.

b) Negative thoughts attract negative people and events.

5. Life presents to you whatever your thoughts are.

6. As you change your mind, you change your experience.

7. You are unlimited. There are no boundaries. God is infinite and unlimited; therefore, everything that is, is unlimited. Anything is possible. All you have to do is believe it.

8. The present is the fruit of the past and the seed of the future.

9. The world is what you think it is. You can change your world by changing your thoughts.

10. Energy flows wherever your attention goes.

11. Nothing ever happens to you without you calling for it, or without your participation.

12. All power comes from within.

13. You create exactly whatever your vibe is.

14. Think what you want because you are going to get what you think whether you want it or not.

The greatest gift you can offer the world, yourself, and your children is a clear consciousness, free of distracting or sabotaging thoughts. In doing the transformational work of the kahuna way, you are locating sabotaging and negative thoughts, weeding them out, and literally creating a cleaner consciousness to bring to the world.

One of the goals of Renewal Breathwork, one of the systems I teach, is to make the unconscious conscious so that we can see our thoughts, become conscious of what they are producing in our lives, and then have the choice to change them. A well-trained breathworker can help us identify even preverbal thoughts that trace back to our births and even the womb. Once we remove negative unconscious material from our minds, our whole lives can change.

Without this complete understanding, you are nowhere. You can create whatever you want and you can uncreate what you don’t want. In the old days these secrets were carefully guarded, held to be the exclusive property of the masters. Now we all need to become students of Huna and masters of our lives. Now is the moment of power.

Sondra Ray, one of the founders of the rebirthing movement, is a teacher, seminar leader, and devoted student of spiritual disciplines. Her books include The Only Diet There Is, Healing and Holiness, and I Deserve Love.

Ray was launched into international acclaim in the 1970s as one of the pioneers of the Rebirthing Experience. Ray has a B.S. degree in Nursing from the University of Florida College of Nursing and a Masters Degree in Public Health and Family Sociology from the University of Arizona. She was trained as a Nurse Practitioner in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Early on she worked in the Peace Corps and was stationed in Peru.
