Crystal Star Oracle Interpretation

MIXING THE MUNDANE with the magical is the best way I can describe the Crystal Star Oracle outlook for January 2010. Taurus and the 6th House speak to your daily life with family and responsibilities while Neptune brings in the energy of dreams, ideals, and the mysterious unknown.

This could be a month when you can find spiritual fulfillment in meeting the daily challenges of life. It may not feel like it, but the daily grind of going to work, dealing with coworkers, coping with family issues and taking care of a home really are important spiritual activities. Some of the most spiritual people I know are people who have had the toughest life experiences, so I have come to believe that every thing we do every day has it’s own spiritual energy and purpose. Even the things that seem bad or hard are important because they help us practice our spiritual beliefs. It takes a lot of spiritual energy to do all live each day and face every challenge with a peaceful heart and a positive attitude.

So maybe this January, instead of making big New Year’s resolutions that may last only briefly, you could make a point of finding the blessings and wonders in your everyday life, look for the positives in others and find empathy for their life situations. Seek to be aware of the joy in your child’s laugh, the warmth of time spent with a good friend or family member, the kindness of a coworker, the release that comes after an argument or the unity of people pulling together during tough times. It will feed your spirit and strengthen bonds with those the people you care about. And you may find that by looking for the miracles and magic in the mundane world around you, you will grow spiritually and you will naturally make changes in your life that will reflect that growth. Achieving your goals may be far easier and the journey will be much more pleasant.

This month’s Color Therapy Card is Purple. Purple is a royal color, and a psychic color too. Use purple accents around your home this month to remind you of your spiritual connection to all things. Bringing some purple into your space will increase your abundance and stimulate your third eye activity to boost your intuition. Locate a purple light, or throw a purple scarf over a lamp shade to bring the psychic and spiritual energy of purple into your personal space. If you are feeling disconnected from others, lie under a purple scarf and imagine that the world has been enveloped in a huge bubble of purple light. Activities such as this will help you to connect with your inner self and the world around you, find more harmony and balance in your life, and will help you to see your life objectively and make changes accordingly.

Bloodstone is a very powerful stone to have on hand for a time of inner discovery and change. Deep dark green with red splotches that look like drops of blood, which is how it got its name, Bloodstone is an excellent choice when you are working towards a desired goal and the tasks at hand seem daunting or you are struggling with opposition. Now is the time to find your piece of Bloodstone and carry it in your pocket during your daily activities, so that you can reach in and touch it whenever you feel threatened or pressured. It is known as the stone of courage, and perseverance and it will lend you its strength whenever you call upon it. Bloodstone can also be useful in removing obstacles that may have stood in your way in the past and help you maintain an attitude of honesty and integrity.

Lapis Lazuli is an ancient and beloved stone of the Egyptians, who revered it for its abilities to enhance psychic power, clear negative energy and induce a state of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual perfection. Wear your favorite Lapis pendant or carry a piece of Lapis Lazuli with you so you can touch it whenever you feel lost or overwhelmed. The gold flecked deep blue of Lapis Lazuli will not only remind you of your perfect self and the blueprint you have created for your future; it will also provide you with sacred subconscious knowledge to assist you in achieving your ultimate goals.

Deep dark blue Sodalite with its white “lightening” lines will help you to think clearly and logically this month. Sodalite can also help you achieving an understanding of the realities of living while remaining fully connected to your spiritual foundations. Sleeping with a piece of Sodalite nearby will help you become a more unified being with a clearer understanding of yourself. Carry it or keep it handy on your desk at work for inspiration and to help you make sense of chaotic or irrational situations.
