EACH MONTH I WILL INTRODUCE one of the power animals from my website, www.PowerAnimalsUnleashed.com, so that you may experience their life-transforming energy. Last month I introduced you to the confident and creative spirit of the peacock. This month I invite you to experience yet another powerful energy, to slip through the veil of time and see your life after you have become one with the awesome power of the polar bear.

Here, come in here, into this world of white, blowing white in the wind, dazzling white in the sun, white broken only by blue stretches of water and sky, all blue and white, all bright and cold, sparkling and dazzling and dancing in the sunlight of being. Feel the strength that comes from being one with the powerful polar bear in his northern home.

Confidence and Balance
As the polar bear, your confidence grows with each day, for you know how to turn adversity into learning and strength. Each challenge that presents itself makes you stronger. Each night of freezing snow helps you to build your knowledge that you can survive, yes, even thrive, due to your internal strength alone. Each day without food makes you know how what a strong and powerful survivor you are. You never worry and wonder if you will be enough. You know you are enough. Life has offered its challenges and you have met them, every one.

You have a very special strength inside, and it comes from this: You know that everything is balanced. You know that the days of hunger are balanced with the days of plenty. You know that the long dark winter is balanced with the bright summer days of dazzling beauty. You know that the cold and deep is balanced against the warm and bright. You feel this balance in your soul and accept it easily and with grace. You are at ease in the world, no matter what it brings, for you are the polar bear.

Strength and Perseverance
Your physical strength and stamina are unmatched. When you need power, physical, emotional or mental, it is there, always. You are like a deep well of power that never runs dry. It is all there for you, unending. A new challenge is nothing to you, for you are fully aware of the depth of your reserve, a reserve deep enough to take you for miles across the open snow, uncomplaining, your faith never wavering. It would never even occur to you to quit or back down. You are belief, power and strength, for you are the polar bear.

Playfulness
Even though you are strong and powerful, there is a playfulness in your heart, and you love to run across the snow, roll, romp and play. As large as you are, there is a lightness to your soul and in your movements, a melody running through your heart that plays a joyful tune. And when your tummy is full and the sun is shining, you fill with joy, your oneness and harmony complete, knowing you are exactly as you need to be, exactly where you ought to be, on this glorious day. And every day unfolds like this, with oneness and harmony, a knowingness that you are exactly right for the world you inhabit. You are made to be who you are, for you are the polar bear.

Internal Power and Protection
With the polar bear power within you, you can stay strong and powerful in environments in which others may fade. What appears hostile and overwhelming to others is simply where you live. It is your world and you are king within it. You have a built-in insulation that protects you, like a warm and loving shield you can pull around yourself when you need to. After all, you are able to stay warm in the coldest places on earth, simply by using your internal furnace. You are impervious to what the world may bring, for you are the polar bear and you carry your protection and power within you.

Peace
And when you wish to be alone, when you want to retreat into your own silence, you can just close your eyes, put your paw over your nose and simply disappear. You have the power to do this at any time you care to, as a response to danger approaching or simply because you feel the call of an internal voice that is stronger than what is outside. You know how to retreat into complete and utter stillness, as still as the snow, as peaceful as the glacier, as complete as the sparkling crystal night. This utter stillness is a part of you that is always there, a profound peace yours to access whenever you need it, for you are the polar bear.

Success
You are a powerful hunter with an unerring instinct that leads you to success. You know exactly where to find what you are seeking, even when it is hidden under the ice. Your intuitive sense will tell you which direction to walk, where to reach in your paw and pull out the prize.

Your power, intuition and survival techniques allow you to succeed where others might fail, over and over. You have a deep patience that propels you on further than others will go and also allows you to wait, when waiting is what is required. You do not even understand the concept of failure, for you know that you will succeed at whatever you care to take on. And you know this because you have taught it to yourself, over and over, for you are the polar bear.

How to Join with Polar Bear Energy
I would like to share with you now a special invocation to bring you into oneness with this powerful polar bear energy. Use this invocation each morning while opening yourself to the flow of polar bear energy that will surely come.

I breathe in deeply and open myself to golden cleansing energy
I ask that it may flow through me, from head to toe,
Clearing me and preparing me for the vibrant energy of the polar bear

My mind is quiet and clear
I am open now to new ways of thinking

My heart opens wide and grows soft and warm
I am open now to new ways of loving

My center grows calm and deep
Like an endless pool of still water
I am open now to new ways of being
I am ready

I stand in the light of love
And invite polar bear energy to come to me now
To fill me and empower me
To transform my life through the great gifts of the polar bear

I feel the polar bear energy as it fills me
Strength and courage flood into me; my power is immense
The freezing winds blow as I travel across the ice and snow, but I am safe and warm
My energy is great; I feel I could walk forever
I know my power, the power of the polar bear

I am now one with polar bear energy
I will feel it and be it in every moment
For I am the polar bear

No challenge is too great, no distance too far
For I have heart, strength and energy to spare
For I am the polar bear

I can survive easily where others cannot;
I am my own safety and protection
And if I care to, I can just close my eyes and disappear
For I am the polar bear

I give thanks for this gift, for this grace
And with each breath I take I now know
I am the polar bear

And now, you are one with the polar bear.

Let his power fill you as you allow yourself to take on challenging assignments, knowing you will succeed. Let his peace fill you as you realize that you can survive even the harshest environments and the longest winters. Let his faith fill you with a knowing that the sun will shine, the fish will jump and all will return to balance in the sunshine of life.
