HE WHISPERED IN MY EAR
Tell me what can you see?
I look out in the distance
And see birds that fly free
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what can you hear?
I listen and hear voices
Of angels so clear
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what can you smell?
I breathe in the aroma of air
Filled with salt I can tell
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what can you taste?
I taste the bread my grandmother used to make
Not a speck would we waste
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what can you touch?
I can touch people's hearts
They have touched mine much
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what can you feel?
I feel you are always around
Even when I have doubts that you're real
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what do you know?
I know you get what you ask for
When you learn to let go
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what have you learned?
I've learned that life gives you
What you have earned
He whispered in my ear
Tell me what have you taught?
I've taught those who tried it
That love can't be bought
He whispered in my ear
What do you love most about living?
I said I love playing
I love dancing and giving
He whispered in my ear
Why are you here?
It was at this moment
That I shed a tear
All of my life
I've sought the answer to this
Tossing and turning
Seeking my bliss
But now after all this time
The answer is here
My reason for being
Is suddenly clear
I am here to give Love
Compassion and Kindness
To serve where I can
To help with the blindness
To help people Remember
That which they have forgot
To help them Awaken
Remind them just bodies we're not
I opened my eyes
And for the first time did see
Him standing before me
As clear as can be
Thank you, I said
For the questions you asked
They have opened my eyes
And lifted my mask
He opened his arms
I felt his embrace
His presence was all Light
Love, Peace and Grace
Thank you he said
For taking the time to tune in
You often don't hear us
When you don't look within
Life is meant to be Magical
You can make all your dreams come true
When you remember the great Power
That lies within you
Remember who you really are
Know your Truth and your Worth
All you have been looking for
Is now ready for Birth
I smiled with gratitude
And promised my guide
That from now on I will daily
Take time to go inside
Our guides and our angels
Have so much to say
But like our inner voice they speak softly and we can't hear them
Unless we find space in the day
To be still and to be quiet
To open the eyes and ears of our Heart
To feel our connection to the Love inside and around us
That shows us we're never apart
From the One Source we all seek
Often outside ourselves
It's already within us
At our core this Source dwells
This Source is called Love
It is our Truth and our Light
It helps guide our way
From bright dawn to dark night
It radiates outward
Flowing to others
Shining a torch to help
All our sisters and brothers
We are all in this together
One Humanity United
Together we'll create a New World
The shore has already been sighted
