THIS ARTICLE IS an introduction to 'Heart of the World' Earth Healing; a gateway meditation that opens us to a profound experience of divine love within, and empowers us to share this love deeply with all living beings. It is a simple form of service that I envision has the power to change the world.

I began training in Earth Healing more than twenty years ago, with my teacher Ananda Tara Shan in Australia, and have also practiced the transmission meditation shared by the Masters through Benjamin Crème. Energy channeling, working with the Ascended Masters, angels and archangels to transmit healing vibrations to the Earth has been a familiar and much loved practice in my life. I found, as time progressed, that I was experiencing a timeless interconnection with the planet and with all beings when I meditated. I felt no space, no time, no distance between myself and the whole of creation. The longer I worked with the masters, and the more I entered the world of their consciousness, the more constant this experience became, and the more I realized that this place is the source of our transformation and awakening. It was from this experience of Oneness that 'Heart of the World' Earth Healing was born.

Combining the transmission of the twelve rays with immersion in omnipresent consciousness, this form of planetary healing is part of the 'next wave' of practices being given to us by the Ascended Masters. These vessels of awareness, in which we experience the tangible reality of the unified field, will draw us gradually closer and closer to the centre of the secret; the song of our original nature concealed for so long within the centre of our innermost heart.

As we move from separation and duality consciousness, into increasing communion with each other, we will find ourselves collectively standing at the great gate that leads to complete union with the mystery of love. This gate, the transition to the Christ-consciousness, leads into the very heart of creation; into the source and origin of all love. The living fire of the Christos, present as a flame within us and within the Earth itself, is already in the process of bringing us home. Connecting to the emerging fire of this consciousness within us is central to the next phase of our awakening process. It will become the founding principle of group energy work in the coming cycle, and the source of what Alice Bailey foresaw as the advent of 'group initiation'.

My first experience with the Christ-consciousness occurred in 1987 during a group meditation. In a timeless moment my life was changed forever; the very foundation of my reality was transformed by a love so vast and deep that no human words could ever do it justice. My consciousness, taken into the heart of the atom, experienced the golden rising fire of love that is transforming the world from within. Immersed in this vast presence of compassion, I was told that the enlightenment of all beings is inevitable; how this presence of love, emerging from deep within the heart of the planet, and within our bodies, will eventually heal all suffering on earth.

The practice of Heart of the World Earth Healing assists us in connecting to this emerging Christ-Consciousness. Our individual and group intention to merge with this awareness, creates a bridge between the timeless realm of the Presence and the world of form. Through this union of heaven and earth, we bathe the records of our shared suffering in the light of divinity, allowing a shared experience of grace.

When we meditate regularly as a group in this vibration, we are contributing to the planetary awakening in a profound way through the principle of resonance. It is empowering to know that no matter where we are, or what our personal life-situation is, we are free to experience and radiate the qualities of love and peace that we long for in the world.

Heart of the World
Healing Earth Meditation

Preparation
With consciousness resting in the Heart, we allow the breath to flow as compassionate awareness; receiving on the in-breath, letting go on the out-breath. The breath flows as a wave of divine oceanic awareness, carrying the body, and the mind; carrying all that we contain.

We surrender into the Heart, into the deep sweetness and warmth that exists there; the flame of love wells up from the centre of our being and expands, filling our chest, front and back. We soften in the belly and the spine, allowing the body to receive the Heart.

Setting intention
We set the intention to merge with the Christ-Consciousness and the Divine Mother, to bring healing and awakening to the Earth and all living beings. We recognize ourselves and the group as an expression of the Sacred Heart.

Attunement and Transmission Meditation
Become aware of the Column of Light within your energy field, allowing your consciousness to rise upwards along the Column through your Heart, Head and Crown Chakra. Place your awareness at the outermost edge of your energy field above your head, then allow yourself to lift in awareness into the great light of the Soul above you.

Inwardly ask for the perfect union with the Heart of your Soul, through your Soul for perfect union with the Heart of the Christ-Consciousness, and through the Christ-Consciousness for perfect union with the Heart of the I Am Presence.

Allow yourself to be fully immersed in this love.

We ask that the love of the Innermost Heart, carrying the qualities of the twelve rays, flows into the Earth, humanity and all living beings in accordance with Divine Will.

Breathe and allow this love to flow.

We ask for the Presence of the Ascended Masters and Archangels to assist with this process. Archangel Michael we ask that you stabilize and maintain this sacred space throughout the meditation.

Bring your awareness down the Column of Light, through your body, following the Column as it passes below your feet and down into the Heart of the Earth.

Allow yourself to merge with the Heart of the Earth, affirming:

I ask for the perfect union with the Divine Mother, and with the 'I Am Presence' in the Heart of the Earth. May the love in the Heart of creation rise to illuminate all matter and enlighten all living beings, in accordance with Divine Will.

Breathe deeply and gently, allowing the waves of love to flow through you to the world.

Bring your awareness back up the column of light to rest in your Heart. Allow your Heart to remain merged with the Heart of the Earth, and your Column of Light with the Earth's Column of Light. Ask to experience oneness with the Christ-Consciousness.

Throughout the meditation allow your field to remain soft and open, allowing love to merge with you, fill you and flow through your whole body as one with the planet, as an expression of the Sacred Heart.

Time: 20-30 minutes

Giving Thanks
We give thanks for the love received; for the love that exists always within us and around us.

Completion
We prepare to return to daily consciousness by taking a few deep clearing breaths, Receiving on the in-breath, and letting go on the out-breath.

Feel how you ground your awareness down in your physical body, being fully present here and now.

You can open your eyes when you feel ready.
