Interview with Lee Carroll

For anyone who has read or heard the words, "Greetings, dear ones, I am Kryon of magnetic service…" the name Lee Carroll is indeed familiar. As the channel for Kryon, Lee has brought us the powerful and compelling messages of the "Magnetic Master" for over eleven years in seven books (with an eighth on the way) and hundreds of live channels around the world.

I interviewed Lee on July 11th beginning at 11:00 AM! What a propitious combination of numbers this was for having the honor of speaking with this wonderful, generous soul. Lee began channeling Kryon after having been dragged as he puts it, "kicking and screaming," into accepting this contract. To interview Lee was a special and poignant honor for me because Lee's first book, The End Times, was the vehicle that started me on my conscious path of Spiritual evolution. In this interview Lee answers many questions about his role as the Kryon channel, what we can expect in the years to come, and comments on the marvelous book, The Indigo Children, that he co-authored with Jan Tober. And Lee provides a special message from Kryon to the readers of PlanetLightworker. Enjoy!

Question: How did you become the channel for Kryon?

Lee: I am a 27-year audio engineer, and the last thing that I ever wanted to do was to speak with Spirits. My wife at the time, Jan Tober, who to this day is my Spiritual partner, thirteen to fourteen years ago took me to a channeler, dragging me kicking and screaming, me, not the channeler. This man gave me information. Three years later we did it again with another guy, a younger man, a reader, and I went there too. Both of these times were for her not me. They were for her birthday or something. I got to thinking about what was said late one night, and my engineer brain couldn't put this together because I think they said the same thing. So I went back and got the tape of the guy three years earlier, and I found on that tape he said there is a magnetic master who is tying to get a hold of you, and I still have that tape-it is by Frank Alper who lives in Phoenix. The other guy said there is an energy around you, and he called him by name and spelled Kryon. The hard part for me was what are the odds that two men forty years apart in age and three years apart in time gave me the same message?

I didn't believe any of this at the time. So that rubbed me wrong at the time because it didn't fall into the logic. So I had to go there because of my personality wanting a balance in everything, wanting everything to come out even, the left-brain part of me that wants everything complete. I went into an examination of what that could be. And I was hit between the eyes with some realities and truths that I could not explain. For those of you who don't know and who would just pick up my book and perhaps not knowing anymore about me, you have to understand that between 1989 and 1993, the book was written in '89 and published in '93, there was a four-year examination that was very difficult for me. I went through trials. First thing I thought in channeling was that I was making it up. I had to get information that I could not possibly know. I had to get it validated from all kinds of other people. Every time that I asked for validation I hoped on the inside they would say keep your day job because I was afraid of becoming weird, strange, and spooky.

To wrap up this question, this was not a snapshot, a flashbulb, this took examination after the first interview with Kryon was presented, and I had the choice at that to time to stay in that engineering hat or not. But what I discovered was that I did not have to make a choice. What I finally discovered was the engineer part of me was as every bit active, and I did not have to give away logic or reason, or my sanity. What I discovered was that I was much bigger than I thought, and that was what Kryon wanted to teach me before the book ever came out. I could live with the integrity of that, and in 1993, the book came out. To make a long story short, I melded the two-the weird spooky guy and the engineer are now one.

Question: Is there a time when Kryon will no longer be associated with the Earth?

Lee: Kryon has always been here and will remain here.

Question: What is Kryon's mission?

Lee: The Kryon entourage is realigning the magnetic grids of the earth and that mission is complete in 2002. There is much physical evidence to support this. The magnetic grids have shifted more in the last ten years than in the preceding ninety. The Jeppeson map company in Denver, Colorado, for example, is busy remaking air maps and runways are being renumbered. Kryon's major mission is to provide information.

Question: What is it like for you personally to be the channel for Kryon?

Lee: We have melded so that it feels like we are one entity when I channel

Question: When you channel are you aware of what is going on around you?

Lee: Yes, I am completely aware. In the beginning when I taped the channels myself, I had the tape recorder beside my chair. I could hear the "click" when the tape needed to be turned over. Kryon would stop, and I would turn the tape.

Question: How many books have you written? How many more do you anticipate?

Lee: The eighth Kryon book [Passing the Marker] is being released in August. Jan and I wrote The Indigo Children together, and it has outsold all of the Kryon books. Kryon books will keep being written as long as he has something to say. When you count the Indigo book, so far there are nine books total.

Question: What has been the most memorable event associated with your work with Kryon?

Lee: This is one of the easiest things for me to answer because Jan and I both agree. It was when we went to France the first time. Since then we have spoken to thousands of people there. But this was when we were in a town in southern France called Périgueux and the meeting was in a huge airplane hangar where 1100 people showed up. We were shocked and surprised but what unveiled was an audience that was so receptive, like none we had ever seen in any part of America. If you understand what toning is, when we got the audience going, we could not stop them. It went on and on, and they were so loud, it was almost as if they were yelling. In Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Spielberg pegged that one. I think it was in India where they went over the berm and you saw the people, thousands of them, were all singing and toning. The same kind of thing happened in Périgueux; they weren't just marginally toning; they were yelling the notes. When we finally got them to calm down, it was astonishing; we didn't know what to say.

It was at the end of the channeling. We said goodbye to the French. We did all of our wrap-ups. Jan sang her song and everything else. We just sat there and looked at them and they looked at us. And what happened was they sat there, we sat there-we even asked the translators if they translated it right. They said, oh yes. The people started singing their songs to us. The whole audience knew all of the songs in French singing them back to us. It was quite moving, quite moving. That was our introduction to Europe. Is it no wonder that we keep going back? We are so well received, so loved.

Question: Has Kryon used other channels in other parts of the world?

Lee: As described in my books, there are nine other people involved with Kryon. In fact, anyone can communicate with Kryon. I do not have an exclusive with him. The locations of these people are identified by latitude and longitude. In fact some of them may be children and have not begun to channel. Others may not have accepted the role.

Question: Have you met any of them?

Lee: No, but I have heard of two.

Question: I remember the first time that I saw you and attended a Kryon channel was January 1996, and I thought then that you were a very humble and approachable person. Do you find that your following associates you with Kryon as more than a channel?

Lee: I want you to come interview me in six years, and if I'm not the same, I want you to beat me bloody. There are a couple of answers. The first is that Kryon has given me the admonition year after year that when I say, "What's next?" he says, "Day by day." He has never shown me what's next. He has said to me personally that anytime that I want out, just get full of myself and it won't work any more.

Now, you may think that this is a fearful thing, that maybe it is an admonition, and I want to be very careful, that I do not want to loose the income, the following or any of the other things because I quit my other job-the truth is that when you start living this, the four attributes of love get pasted upon you as taught in The Journey Home [book five]. Love is quiet, love has no agenda, love does not puff itself up, love has wisdom, and these things become easy to live by. In fact its what makes you most comfortable. So I have certain buttons that truly are disengaged. Oh, you can hurt my feelings and all these other things but this thing about wanting to be famous and getting my power and all that stuff is truly diminished with me a great deal. So I am very different than you might imagine I would be with all this hoopla. And the other thing is that Kryon never really lets me know just how much is going on.

Question: How many public channels and other appearances do you make now-this year for example?

Lee: I never counted them. We do about seven a month I think. One of those seven is a really big one with a lot of people and Jan comes along. On the other six, I go out alone. Then twice a year we are off continent. Kryon is in twelve languages now and we are able to go to many countries that have those. You might be interested, for your readers, to know how many countries have all of the Kryon books. The answer is France in the French language and Hebrew-all of the books. [Ron: the Hebrew part surprises me.] It surprises me too. When we go there in October I will probably know more why. In the scheme of things you know even in book seven [Letters from Home], Kryon wrote a chapter for the Jews and it was along the lines as he said in some of the earlier books, as go the Jews, goes the world.

There is really something hiding here that we should take a look at. We know where the flashpoint was supposed to happen. Armageddon was supposed to happen, and Revelations said all this stuff that did not happen. I believe now that the same place where the flashpoint should have occurred will be the place for the healing will start. We hear about this almost daily on the radio. When you go over there it's a very small country. There's a whole lot of energy over there for such a small area. I think it is profoundly involved with world change.

Question: Do you and Kryon communicate on an ongoing basis? What is like to have immediate access to such an incredible resource? Does Kryon supply you with personal guidance beyond your role as the channel?

Lee: I feel like Kryon is on my shoulder. This is a kind of a joke. I don't have an edge on anybody else. When I ask Kryon about this, he said this is no different than your higher self. He said, "So, really what you are doing is that you just have a constant companion. You just think that's me." [Ron: no winning lottery ticket numbers?] That's right! This is a communication he has given a name called the third language. The third language is a walking meditation to learn to access the source all of the time when you are walking, driving. You take it out of the arena when in the past we would go to the altar only when it was time to talk. We can still go to the altar, we can continue to put time aside just for ourselves and communication, but really we communicate 100% of the time. That is the ability that we have.

When you plug that kind of experience in just walking around day-by-day doing your errands, doing your wash, this is absolutely the way that it can be. I do not want to get anybody thinking that I go around in a state of euphoria; boy, I have my times, and I have my depressions-I have all of these things, but you know what? That's duality. The body wants to snap back. The more you exercise this muscle called the higher self, the more the body wants to recover when you go into disappointment or worry or any of these other things, I tell you those things are far, far shorter because that muscle keeps wanting to come back the more you exercise it and look to the Spiritualness for where the challenge is. We have got some wonderful things in the new book coming out in August. It's called Passing the Marker.

Question: What is the third language? What are the other two?

Lee: I don't know that-the other two. I have no idea, but here's what I think. I don't think that it has to do with the linearity of numbering. I think he has called it a third language because three is the catalyst number so it is a numerological attribute as opposed to a linear one.

Question: What do you experience when you channel?

Lee: The position of being the channel in front of people especially now when you look at the people that I have had to be in front off, like the delegates of the United Nations, or thousands of people who did not speak my language, this spot used to be the most terrifying thing I did. That four-year period that was so difficult [the time between writing and publishing the first Kryon book, The End Times]-the difference is now that's my sweet spot. I can hardly wait to sit in that chair. This is the most comfortable that I can be because I have got such a friend. I got so much help when I sit there that nothing can go wrong. [Ron: you have friends in high places!] That's the way I feel. Of course, Kryon's message is that everybody's got them. To answer your question directly, I meld in such a way that the information is not heard or seen. It comes into an intimate part of my brain which I call me. That's why I felt I was making this up because that's where your thought processes occur.

Now that I think about it, why wouldn't it be there? It wouldn't be some external thing with one of your senses hearing it through the walls or something. To me it would have to be very intuitive. The communication is in thought groups. It comes in my thoughts and my language although it definitely is from Spirit, then I just speak it. It becomes fairly easy now to do that. At first the reason I fought it so much was I couldn't decide who was talking. Now, exercising that muscle of channeling through the years, I understand the four year stint-again I go back to that-I tell people that if you are learning to do this, don't be disappointed if it does not feel perfect or you don't get the whole picture of all of these things right away. Practice it and practice it and practice it. That's how flexing the muscle works.

Question: Do you communicate with other entities including your guides and higher self?

Lee: Because of my contract with Kryon, this is absolutely number one. I don't find myself communicating with much else except I am very aware of my own higher self because that's the way I channel Kryon. Through Kryon, Metatron has come in but only through Kryon, never alone. That's my process. I know many people who have channeled many entities. If you as a reader asked me how that works when they do, the reason is for validation with many entities giving the same message. When you find that happening you know there is some core truth happening as opposed to somebody who channels one message that is diametrically opposed to the next.

Question: What is Kryon's current message regarding visitation by extraterrestrials?

Lee: Wait until after 2012. He says that they are not going to get here until it's peaceful. He also says that the ones you see hanging around have always been here. We've known about them for sixty years. We are far more powerful than they are. They are here to find out what we have that they don't. It's in the books. He says that they are even afraid to land on the White House lawn for fear that we will vaporize them out of our fear. We have total control over anything that they might do. So they are just riff-raff. Kryon did not say that word, but basically that's it. The ones that have to do with our seed biology will arrive after 2012, and then he said don't be surprised if they look just like you do which is interesting. What a thing that would be.

I was reading in Time magazine yesterday about how this has escalated; whereas ten years ago everybody thought that the search for life in the universe was stupid and asinine, and now it's in Time magazine that they think that they have discovered active water on Mars. They can hardly wait to get there and see what life is in it because they are convinced that if there is water, there is life. This is so different than it used to be. They think there is water on a moon of Jupiter and life there as well. So now they are thinking very and very strongly that there could be life in other parts of the universe, and of course it is an extrapolation to say how much it has evolved. We have come a long way, even the thinking of scientists about possibilities-it is so fun to watch. The idea of ET may not be all that strange and weird come 2012.

Question: Would you like to comment on your book Indigo Children? What are the Indigo Children and how would a parent identify a child as an indigo child?

Lee: It would be difficult within a few sentences to give you that information. You really do need to get the book so that there is no simplification or trite answers to such a profound happening as this. It's an important subject about the changes in children right now...globally.

Basically the Indigo children represent an evolvement of Humanity...one that many have predicted. These kids are coming in now in mass (almost 100% of children born now are Indigo), and represent a new consciousness of Human. It's not that they are going to be Spiritual giants, however. It's that they have a different mind-set when they arrive, and it has to be recognized and parented correctly or they will react severely. Case in point: 20% of preschoolers today are on Ritalin! Why? It's not a "catchy" disease; it's a behavior disorder. Yet millions of children seem to need it. This is because the symptoms of ADD and ADHD look very much like what happens to an Indigo when they are not recognized as such. The book is about identifying this, and what to do about it.

This information is profound, and we have had tremendous support from experts all over the world that the children are indeed changing. Even this month, Time Magazine had articles about cheating teachers, and children that wouldn't take stupid tests! Well, teachers are between a rock and a hard place on this deal... they are underpaid humanitarians who have a passion for the kids! The only thing that would make a teacher cheat and give answers to the children is if they absolutely knew the children would not take the tests. That's exactly what's happening, and you can find it in the Indigo book. These kids are very different than we were...and smarter.

There is far more to this than I can ever tell you in an interview. Of all the books we have written, this one is number one. Unlike the other Kryon books, this one is mainstream. You can go get the Indigo book at Barnes and Noble under the "Partnering" section. That's exactly what Jan and I wanted.

Question: What would Lee Carroll like to communicate to the readers of PlanetLightworker?

Lee: You know I have never been asked that. So I would say to you that I feel so honored; I feel so honored in my life this time around to have been selected as the communicator for this information-for this piece of this information. I am overwhelmed when people respond to it. So I am very thankful. [Ron: it has to touch your heart.] Oh it does, daily. I've got to do the business too, but in the process of doing the business, I am forever seeing so much gratitude.

Question: Would Kryon like to communicate to the readers of PlanetLightworker?

Lee: Absolutely-the communication is generally similar from time to time, but this is different. That is we are sitting in a new energy that nobody predicted. There is not one entity in the universe that saw humanity here. This is a tremendous enablement of the human race. We are on a train that has no track. We are building the track as we go. I could tell you that anything could happen, and it could. We are here because of a higher consciousness in humanity. A humanity that even last year decided it would not tolerate genocide on the earth, and we haven't seen it all, but when we do, we won't tolerate it where we find it either. That's different.

There was a time when we wouldn't invade the sovereignty of a country's borders, and they could do as they wished. That's all gone. Take a look at many of the things that have consciously taken place; all I am saying is that there is no better time. Kryon says there is no better time to discover the interdimensionality that you have as you go to work, as you get up in the morning, walk around and do your errands, there is so much more here, and now we have an energy that supports it whereas we were beating ourselves against a wall trying to get Spiritual. I want to say that if you take a look at some of the books that are being written now and some of the things that are going on around you, it is profoundly obvious that there has been a tremendous shift in energy, and now we are having a release, an opening of doors that we never had before. It is time to take advantage of it.

What this translates into is longer lives, an ability to change time- stuff you think of as real spooky. Our new science is going to hit us so hard and so fast; we are going to have integrity issues with it. It's going to look like Buck Rogers again. We are going to have to use the greatest personal discernment that we have ever had to use in our lives. A good example now of that is the Internet. There is nobody in charge of it; there is nobody who is giving us rules; and we have to discern at each computer what we are going to look at, what our kids are going to look at, what we are going to do collectively as far as safeguards. And that's a little bit of a snapshot, a vignette of what we are going to be expected to do with science, culture, and even peace and war. Look for a book called Fatima Prophecy [written by Ray Stanford, published by Ballentine]. Even the Pope knows about it. The prophecy was originally interpreted by the Vatican that the Pope would have an assassination attempt. That's not what it said at all. What it said was, what they did not want anybody to know, is that it corroborates what Kryon is saying. The actual prophecy is that in these times the truth will be revealed outside of the church. It's just the situation that they [the Vatican] are saying that it will not come from there.

Question: If Kryon were to give a short, concise, simple message that we could carry around with us and have access to all of the time, what would it be?

Lee: That's easy. It's very easy. It's part of the end of one of the parables in Kryon book four [The Parables of Kryon]. We have a tendency in all of our communications to go over a laundry list of what we need. The core question, easily remembered, easily memorized, if you want to know something to say to Spirit that would really get attention, it is, "Dear Spirit, what is it that I need to know?" Then stand back and watch out!
