THE GREAT RELIGIONS and philosophies of the world have within the core of their teachings one common element; there is a power within the universe that has the ability to correct all that ails mankind. Although written in different times and languages, each belief system provides details that declare, all is connected to a single source, a single power. The approach each belief system takes toward this agreement varies greatly but the intention is the same, heal the mind of mankind and return it to the remembrance of Oneness.

Each system, in their own unique way, proclaims the answer to all our difficulties can be found only in this one source. In the last hundred years science too has joined this viewpoint with Quantum Mechanics declaring the Oneness of all that is, referring to it as the unified field. Many people prefer a more intimate affinity with Oneness and call it Love, the true and only remedy for every problem that afflicts mankind.

Our inner voice has inspired us to share our understanding of these findings under the heading, Quantum Miracles.

In A Course in Miracles it says, "Miracles are natural. When they do not occur something has gone wrong." T.1.I.6.1 It also says, "Miracles make minds One in God." T.1.I.19.1. One perspective of these two statements is, awareness of all being One is natural, and if we are not aware of this connection something has gone wrong within us - within our mind. If we look around the world we think you will agree, something indeed has gone wrong within us.

• Christianity with its 2.1 billion followers says, "I and the Father are one" (John 10:30), and Jesus said, "I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High," said Jesus (referring to Psalm 82:6).
• Judaism with its 20 million followers says, "Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one!" (Deuteronomy 6:4) "I am that I am - the self-existing One." (Deuteronomy 32:39)
• Islam with its 1.2 billion followers says, 'Wheresoe'er ye turn, there is the face of God." Quran
• Taoism's first principle is Oneness. "There is not just us, or just nature, but both."
• Hinduism with its 850 million followers says, "The Truth is One; Sages name it variously..." Rig Veda. The ancient teachers (the Rishis and Gurus) taught that the One reality and consciousness is beyond number, gender and definitions.
• Buddhism with its 400 Million followers based its teaching on the Oneness of man. In the West the scientist Abraham Maslow (1908-1970) used the term 'self-actualization' to describe the Buddhist term 'Buddha Nature' or enlightenment.

These six well known belief systems, which represent over four and a half billion people, have at the foundation of their faith a belief in the Oneness of all that is.

In Quantum Mechanics we are told that every thought affects or disturbs the field or wave in the unified field. This disturbance leads to a particle in time and space ultimately becoming that which we thought into it. Circumstances and the things we experience are direct descendants of the attention we give them. This means that what we are expressing or out-picturing in our inner mind is directly connected to what we see in our perceptual reality. Whether we are aware of this or not does matter. As we are within, is the way our world shows up.

A Course in Miracles - Manual for Teachers says, "teaching is a constant process; it goes on every moment of the day, and continues into sleeping thoughts as well." It goes on to say, and this is a key factor, "To teach is to demonstrate. There are only two thought systems, and you demonstrate that you believe one or the other is true all the time."

What are these two thought systems? The answer is, a belief in either Oneness -Love or separation - fear. The entire world attests to these two beliefs. The Course explains that the self you think is real (separated or one) is what you teach, and you do this through your demonstration at all times. There is no escape from this.

Another important factor regarding what we demonstrate is that we learn what we teach. The Course explains that our teaching or demonstration reinforces what we believe about ourselves. Further, we are assured that the so-called world curriculum teaches us that we are what we are not. Fundamentally, this states that we are each an individual entity, separate from each other, from all things and from every circumstance. Fear and separation have been the offspring of this teaching.

This has inevitably led us to believe that there is a vastly different curriculum from one belief system to another. However, as we have indicated, in truth there is none. At the core of each lies the teaching of Oneness.

Nevertheless, many people today have become disheartened by these teachings believing they have failed. They say, "look at the world, it's hell-bent on individual selfishness and a dog-eat-dog mentality." It may be said, paraphrasing a line from the novel A Tale of Two Cities, "it is the worst of times and it is the best of times."

However, unseen by most people there is balance as the world quickens toward spiritual enlightenment, a yin for every yang you might say. Darkness appears to be gaining strength, yet the darker the world may seem, the lighter it is. There are great pockets of light, not so obvious as the nightly news sound bites of chaos, but they are there all the same, balancing the darkness with light. These pockets of light, of which you dear reader are no doubt a cherished member, are the conscious or at least semi-conscious teachers of the curriculum of Oneness.

The Course says, "as the teachers of God teach His lessons of joy and hope, their learning finally becomes complete." Their learning finally becomes complete by teaching or demonstrating what they need to learn. Who are they teaching... no one but themselves? Who do they seek to change... no one but themselves? Our world changes out there as we change our mind in here - inside. That too, is the essence of Quantum Mechanics and the Law of Attraction.

A Course in Miracles - Manual for Teachers says, "except for God's teachers there would be little hope of salvation, for the world of *sin would seem forever real." Salvation is another word for Atonement, which the Course explains means undoing. Undoing of what... the undoing of the belief in separation? Awakening, atonement, healing, salvation or enlightenment all mean, remembering what we are - One with God. This also entails forgetting or undoing all other beliefs.

Quantum miracles represents the multitude of moments in which the veils are removed from our inner awareness bringing us closer and closer to this knowing, to this awareness of what we are, One in Love.

The mind that believes in separation is like a collection of bricks in a wall blocking the Truth. When a miracle occurs, one or more bricks are removed and we get a temporary glimpse of the Light of Truth or Love shining through the opening left behind.

Miracles as such do nothing, "...[they simply] bear witness to Truth." What does this mean? It means that what is True just is, it already exists and needs only revealing. A miracle therefore, is a mere change in perception. I change my mind and my world reflects this change. The Course says that all that is required is a little willingness. A grain of sand is all that is in the way of us remembering our Oneness with Truth or Love.

Spontaneous healing is often referred to as a miracle. Yet, the only thing that has happened is a change in perception. For example, two sisters held a grudge toward each other for many years. Finally, one developed a life threatening disease and had only days to live. The other sister visited her in the hospital and the hearts of the two of women, brought to the agony of the moment, forgave each other. In that 'holy instant' as the Course calls it, a grievance or grain of sand was removed and the Truth or Love shone through, removing the mental condition in the mind that created the dis-ease within, and its effect without.

The Course tells us that Christ Jesus never allowed the error [sin] in the mind of the dis-eased to be real in his own mind. He saw only Oneness, only the perfection that is Love. He asked the one who believed in separation and dis-ease if they wanted to be healed, that is, to have the error removed from their mind. We hear only of those that said yes because in each case the error was corrected and dis-ease in the mind was forgiven or forgotten. The error was forgotten because it was never real. It was only a belief in separation.

When dis-ease is made real in one's mind, it is given power or life. The more that one keeps his mind on it the more it is perpetuated. This is a key factor for those attempting to heal. Symptoms may be removed but the root cause, which is an error in the mind, remains and will manifest again and again until the error in the mind is corrected.

In the Introduction to the Course it explains its aim is to, "...remove the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all-encompassing can have no opposite." Again we see a reference to Oneness as Love.

The process of removing blocks or bricks or veils, for that is truly how flimsy these blocks are, goes on until the teacher learns what he or she is teaching. As the Course says, "this is a manual for the teachers of God. They are not perfect, or they would not be here. Yet it is their mission to become perfect here, and so they [attempt to] teach perfection over and over, in many, many ways, until they have learned it."

We are all teachers because we are all demonstrating what we believe we are in every moment. We teach the Truth when we consciously know what we are - Love. Naturally, we fail frequently because we are not yet perfect, we have not yet remembered what we are. The Course says, "...only One child of God needs to awaken the Love within for the whole world to change." Each of us is that One child and we are all awakening to the Love we are.

At this moment the world is quickly awakening the Love and Peace that is the Truth and Light within each of us. As we continue with devotion to teach only Truth, changed perception or miracles occur and block after block is removed from "...the awareness of love's presence," increasing the light of Truth within our mind more and more. Finally, a critical mass of quantum miracles finally merges into our Enlightenment.

How do you put this understanding into practical use in your daily life? The Course says, "...we need only have a little willingness," or the sincere desire to know the Truth. As we ask, it is given. One who asks only for Love can receive no-thing less. The demonstration of our desire to know the truth will immediately begin to show up in our daily life. If this sounds too simple, we understand. Great truth is always simple. Great power is hidden within humility. When your mind drifts into the familiar patterns of them and me, good and bad, winners and losers, bring it gently back home to the Oneness of Love with this simply affirmation or mantra: I am the Light of the world.

On the surface this may appear arrogant yet it is the core of Oneness because each of us is One with the Light of Love. The rewards of expressing the Oneness of Love will become self evident as you experience more and more moments of Love's presence in your world.

Peace to our mind, let our thoughts be still.
