| What is Quantum Healing? QUANTUM HEALING IS healing the body-mind from a quantum level. That means from a level which is not manifest at a sensory level. Our bodies ultimately are fields of information, intelligence and energy. Quantum healing involves a shift in the fields of energy information, so as to bring about a correction in an idea that has gone wrong.
What is healing? The Course says:
In perfect alignment with this idea The Law of Attraction teachers say that what we focus on becomes our experience. With this in mind it seems that one who is sick must have placed some of their attention on what might be called ‘sick thoughts’, thoughts that bring up feelings of fear, or what the authors call separate thoughts. These are thoughts that are separate of the Wholeness of God’s Love. Whether the ‘so called sick thoughts’ are of insecurity, jealousy or unknown feelings of dis-ease, all are the pre-state of sickness. In the bible we are told, “Physician Heal Thy Self.." What does this mean?
In A Course in Miracles Teacher’s Manual it says,
As one changes his mind he sees the change out-pictured in his world. Peaceful, loving thoughts - will make for a peaceful, love filled body and world. Healing in the Quantum sense means that we have corrected the error at the core of our mind where the idea was born. In the Buddhist Tradition we are told that to see Peace we must "become Peace." In The Kabbalah it speaks of healing as the "Aligning our Beings with Divine Mind," Divine Mind heals us, our life, our society and our planet. We have found in our studies that this idea is repeated in all traditions. We find somewhat newer ideas from The Huna tradition of Ho'oponopono. We introduced this concept in article #3 in this series. We mentioned Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, a psychologist in Hawaii used repentance and forgiveness on himself resulting in the healing of criminally mentally ill patients in a state hospital ward.
He went on to say,
As one takes responsibility for his life, he understands that sickness can only occur through the perceiver's decision to sustain sick thoughts and allow them to remain a constant in his mind. He has a choice to clean - a term used in Ho’oponopono - his mind by saying;
My world then mirrors this forgiveness or correction. As the famous Mother of this idea, Louise Hay says in one of her affirmations, "I see my patterns, and I choose to make changes." And in A Course in Miracles it says,
In the Catholic tradition, a concept called Confession is used as a means to heal the dis-eased mind in the same way. One admits his error and makes amends by prayers that are called, Pennance. In this tradition one gives his 'sins/errors' to Jesus and asks for forgiveness and is forgiven for his sins/errors and is purified by an Act of Contrition. Unfortunately, this idea was mis-used by the Church throughout centuries to promote guilt which perpetuated the sickness that came from a simple error in judgment by the perceiver - in this writer’s opinion.
What is the reason that healing doesn’t always appear to occur? In A Course in Miracles it says us,
Healing is the recognition and acceptance of a God or Source as the only choice in any situation where dis-ease is seen. This idea can also be found in The Christian Science Tradition. It teaches that healing is possible through an understanding of the underlying spiritual perfection of God's creation. The World, as humanly perceived is believed to be a distortion of the underlying spiritual reality. As one begins to accept God or Universal Mind as the only answer, he will begin to notice these changes in his outer world. If truly accepted, the perceiver will find that without effort, his outer world changes in clear reflection to the changes that occurred within. A Healed Mind births a healed body/world. You are the Physician. Only you can heal your body... your world. © John and Ananda McIntosh, 2008 |
