1 - The focus now is on your individuality, the qualities you have developed through the year, and potentially a new direction. The intense autumn portion of the year now begins and what needed to be cleared should be. You have the opportunity to open new doors, connect with new ideas, new people, and even a new lifestyle. Lessons pertaining to the development and right use of will have been given and you can now chart your course with connection to higher mind or through impulse and a willful determination to have what you want no matter the cost. The way you proceed insures your success or deepens your trial by fire. It's your choice, but in the interest of saving grace, choose with integrity.

2 - You have been called upon to deepen your understanding of yourself in relation to the quality of your thoughts, relationship to food, and how you do partnerships. Where do you act with faith and knowing, and where do you dwell on fear and worry, causing you to doubt your good in life? During this month, insights can bubble up, you may be more aware of partnerships that reflect positive qualities that support you and those that drain and deplete you. It's time to develop more meaning in your life and to develop boundaries that are appropriate. You have the opportunity of feeling a divine connection leading to major insights when you look beyond the moment and appearances. But you can also be confronted by the ghosts of past events where you have become the nuclear dumping ground for everyone else. Energetically, it's time to recognize that you will only accept high caliber influences in your life, be it your thinking process or the people you spend time with. As you turn on the light of understanding within yourself, you become the light bearer to others…and what a lovely glow that can be!

3 - This month offers you more opportunity for self-expression and to do things that allow you to be more creative. Make time for delightful interludes, fun loving get-togethers, humor, lighthearted people, and also be aware that you have a special "star" quality right now that may not always be present. So if you need to persuade people or sell something, this is the time to do it. You may feel especially sensitive during September, but if issues come up around things related to you as a child or with children, adopt an attitude of greater detachment. Remember, if there is conflict in the environment and it is based on someone else's problem, it's their responsibility to figure out the answer. You gain nothing by jumping in to save a drowning person if you do not know how to swim yourself. So, throw an emotional life preserver, direct others to the help they need, and take your place on the stage of life that is being presented. Let your light shine this month, for you can make an impact and achieve recognition, favors, or attract something sweet into your life that makes it all worthwhile.

4 - September calls upon you to be more practical and realize what is needed in order to bring greater stability and functionality into your life. Where is there need for a greater degree of order? Is there a portion of life that is in need of revamping or shoring up? You have the opportunity to strengthen your position and/or build anew if necessary. The key is to look at all areas of life related to the building blocks, be they tangible or emotional. Where is the foundation strong and where is it wobbly? Are you taking care of what needs doing, or falling into patterns of avoidance? Where are there patterns that you can identify that truly have nothing to do with what is going on now but pull you back to the original script of your life? And in seeing this, what can you do to alter it? A lot of questions, but they can lead to major breakthroughs in the way you deal with your life, and by being willing to push a little harder with yourself, you can overcome patterns that limit you and find yourself like the butterfly emerging from the cocoon through repeated effort to break through what has become outmoded…free at last.

5 - Change anyone? September is a time when there may be travel, unexpected visitors, variety, information, people from a distance, unexpected changes in plans, and the need to remain flexible and adaptable as life doesn't necessarily unfold as you expect it to this month. Your opportunity also is to make a change in life that you have wanted to do…be it a move, shift in working conditions, or expanding your horizons. The impatience you may have felt as an undercurrent this year is more pronounced now and it is important to reflect on your choices. Are you making shifts for the sake of progress or just because you are bored? This is not a time when your discernment is at its highest for there is an adolescent quality operating that causes you to want to do your own thing and make changes without thought of the consequences. Make sure you read the fine print in all contract situations and also take time to have your vehicle (be it auto or self) tuned up or checked out to make sure everything is working properly. Acting in haste can cause problems later, so take a second look. Enjoy yourself and open your arms to life. Just be aware of who and what you are inviting in!

6 - Family, traditions, values, service, caring for others, responsibility…these are some of the things you now have in front of you. Well, actually, hasn't it been that way all year? Your opportunity now is to look at your reason for doing what you do. Are you giving from a full heart or because you think you should? Do you feel loved and loving or overburdened and resentful? When you give because you want to, you can receive great appreciation and wonderful favors or gifts in return. When you do things to impress others or because it is expected, you may feel like a martyr as your actions are met with resentment. This month offers opportunities to practice compassion (even towards yourself) and to be aware of health and well being issues. Love is all you, and all you need to do is see it, embrace it and shower it on everyone else as well.

7 - The focus is on you at the deepest level. Who are you? Why are you here? What is the purpose of your life? There may be incidents that cause you to question what you are doing with your life. You may feel alone or isolated because of issues that have come up, making you look to the underlying foundation of your beliefs about yourself and others. Where is there need for overcoming a limited sense of reality? Where do you need to resolve a relationship with someone from the past? There may be a "fated" meeting with someone who becomes a significant player in your life. But within the context of living, this month asks you to go deeper and examine your spiritual beliefs and sense of reality. You may be tested by events or showered with goodies. Regardless, ask yourself if who you think you are is really adequate to who you really are.

8 - The focal point of the year is balance. 2000 has required that you organize your time, examine how you are relating to your life, and bring disparate parts into a more harmonious union. You may have felt pressured to strive harder or take more time to relax, depending on which extreme you follow. There are things that require attention, so do not avoid what is in front of you. Do what you can to the best of your present ability and it will pay dividends later. On the other hand, you may receive recognition or rewards for something you did previously that is now singled out for praise. Powerful people can become allies and you have the ability to bring your own authority forward. Take time to smell the flowers, and should you feel stressed, avail yourself of music, massage, or a little hot tubbing. They go a long way to help you relax…and that is a good thing!

9 - September is the focal point of the year and for you this means a time of completion. There are loose ends to wind up and a need to review and let go of things within your life that are no longer moving in the same direction as you are. This can be as simple as house cleaning and clearing out closets or as complex as completing a relationship that is no longer validating. There may be endings, but in order to make room for the new, you have to let go of things that are cluttering your life. So use this time to review and let go of what no longer works. Find room in your heart for gratitude in spite of appearances, and see the bigger picture. As you do things for the benefit of many, life supports you. It is only when you narrow your vision and become petty or small that you go through the illusion of loss. When you hold to noble principles, life can be very sweet and rewarding indeed. And so it is!
