Partnerships become the focus. You are asked
to look at how you relate to your thoughts, the food you eat,
the people you interact with - everything that involves
partnering. Your choices define your reality, so the opportunity
is to choose only that which uplifts, supports, and nourishes
you AND others. You may suddenly decide to come together with
someone, or dissolve a partnership that is unsupportive. In
the process of igniting an inner light, you may find yourself
filled with new ideas that need incubation, or a sudden insightful
prompting may require immediate translation in a form that is
understandable to others. The month can provide illumination
through a flash of inspiration or through some form of disruption.
Faith is your shield, even if things seem dark in the moment.
Remember that behind all appearances, a light is shining, and
you are a bringer of that light to bear witness in the world... so
Lighten Up!

Glimmers of creative success can emerge as
you let your imagination soar and focus your energy on finding
outlets for your self-expression that are playful, artistic,
expressive and motivational. You attract that which can support
your abilities as you believe in yourself and surround yourself
with supportive, encouraging friends and family. If you fall
into a trap of emotional conflict based on someone else's
drama, you lose the star quality that is otherwise available,
so be very particular about who you spend time with this month.
The inner child or children in your outer world need a little
extra TLC, and doing things that delight the child part of yourself
can have wonderful benefits all the way around, so find a carousel
or other magical vehicle of play, and express and enjoy the
experience!

This month offers an opportunity to take your
creative ideas and talents and putting them into a realistic
format that has practical underpinnings. Rather than just playing
at something, this month asks you to ground it. The focus now
is on how much money you are spending frivolously, how to budget
more appropriately, and to look at where the foundations in
your life are strong or wobbly. Where do you need to undo something
and rebuild it, or strengthen an existing structure? This can
refer to actual buildings or relationships, or to your internal
sense of things. By pushing through areas of internal resistance,
you open to more possibilities for your good... and once
having done so, you will feel as though you have transformed
a portion of your life for the better. The choice, as always,
is yours.

Expanding possibilities and elements of change
enter the picture. You need to be flexible and adaptable in the
face of shifting expectations or unexpected adjustments to previous
plans. Travel, communication, restlessness - everything
that involves movement - is now more acutely felt. You are
preparing for a year ahead of changes and more vital energy, and
in this month you may sense the importance of being physically
active to drain off some of the excess nervous energy that is
preparing you for expansion in 2009. Make sure that you retain
a sense of focus for things that need your attention, but also
take time to enjoy yourself. Life can become a movable feast right
now, so it requires discernment as you are dazzled by many possibilities.
Read the fine print on agreements, and make sure you really can
afford what seems so important in the moment. Make time to be
still, and then when all is said and done, open your arms and
embrace life!

The focus moves away from expanding horizons
or changing circumstances to you in relationships. Family, friends,
your work, your health - these are the things that begin
to matter. What values are you expressing? How do you feel about
responsibilities in your life? Are they a joy or a burden? Resentment
crops up when you have unexpressed feelings you are not being
honest about with yourself or others. Find ways of making obligations
something that work for everyone and are done in a spirit of love
rather than duty. As you open your heart and show compassion,
you are gifted by appreciation and surrounded by love. Then the
true meaning of family comes to bear fruit, and you are indeed
part of the blessing. |

After a year in which you've had to consider
everyone else, the focus now turns inward. This month asks you
to take time for yourself. Go on retreat or do gardening. Take
a trip to some place in nature. Appreciate quiet and solitude.
Meditate or walk in the woods, or both. Give your attention to
the inner you that is connected to the Source of Life. Look at
areas where you may have harbored a misunderstanding, and find
your way through unraveling stuff that isn't really yours
to come to the core of your own inner wisdom. Specialized projects
benefit from this energy as does relationships that have a deeper
hook into soul growth. It isn't a month for the superficial,
so however you are prompted, take the time necessary to recharge
your batteries and prepare for a more meaningful life in the year
to come. |

Intensity builds as you move out of a year that
may have called you to be more internally focused. Now you can
feel the movement of something that calls you to direct your energy
in a way where you are balancing the different aspects of yourself.
The inner and outer need to dance energetically to create a symphony
of wu/wei... effort/no effort. Look at where you are in your
life and determine if it's where you want to be. If not,
find the core elements of yourself and bring them to the fore.
Each is valid and has a part to play in your life. Now, and through
2009, the opportunity is to find the way of putting the system
of you and your projects into an integrated wholeness, letting
yourself conduct effortless effort to achieve goals and dreams
that may have been withheld previously. Powerful people can assist,
but it's your job to direct the energy and take the opportunities
that come. |

Achievement now gives way to surrendering outcome.
As you climb to the metaphorical mountain top where your view
is unfettered, you can see things that may have been hidden from
view previously. Reach out to the highest and best of yourself.
Share your insights and concepts with others, and let Source express
through you. Let go of petty or limiting attitudes that keep you
locked in a rigid view that is no longer necessary. It's
time to clean out closets and cobwebs of the mind. You are ready
to move to a higher octave, and in doing so, there are things
to let go of that are no longer needed for your future. If this
includes friendships, let them go with love. You are clearing
what would become an impediment, and in so doing, making room
for much more good to come. Gratitude and an attitude of appreciation
are your allies now. Use them, and feel the benefits of that point
of view. |

Can you feel the impulse to action in new or
different ways? Whereas there has been much to complete and clear
out, you now see a glimmer of what is yet to come. This is about
you, your identity, individuality, leadership, point of view,
and the willingness to step out and make yourself heard and known.
Impulsive action can lead to regret, so take time to let something
gestate before acting. However, as you tune in to higher mind,
you may feel insights and promptings that lead to an enlarged
vision for your life. Now you begin to plant the seeds, and will
plant more in 2009. These will begin to yield the unfolding of
a new direction and focus, so make sure that what you attune to
now is for the best of you and everyone else concerned. You have
the ability, and the openings are coming - use them well!

You are beginning a new cycle that will allow
you to open new doors, make new connections, and define your ideas
and inspiration in a way that may significantly alter your life
view or the way you move forward in the future. Bring steadfast
determination and willingness to be open to new opportunities.
Last year was the completion of a nine year cycle for you, and
during that time, you reviewed what works and what doesn't
work in your life. It's time now to re-invent yourself in
ways that are more appropriate to who and what you have become.
This is a new season - and it requires planting the seeds
for your future. Think things through. Don't act on impulse,
but recognize what potential you have and where you want to make
your mark. Right use of Will is important. The more stubborn and
impatient you are, the more chance there is to embark on a path
that is not optimum, so take your time, listen to advice, and
then pay attention to your own higher guidance for confirmation.
This year is all about a new adventure, and you can write the
script for how you want to see it unfold. |

2008 is all about partnerships and the quality
of your connection to everything in your life. That means your
connection to your thoughts, your body, people in your life, attitudes
about others - and it requires discernment and determination
to choose only that which supports and nourishes you at the deepest
level. You may find yourself feeling overwhelmed by other people's
wants. This points to your need to create an invisible boundary
surrounding yourself that others do not penetrate. With thoughts,
if you find yourself in a state of depression, it is important
to shift the frequency that you are focusing upon. Surround yourself
with positive guidance, and pay attention to the subtle clues
life presents. Are you eating things that nurture your body, or
are you depleting your reserves through wrong choices? This year
is often about subtlety. Things aren't necessarily in your
face, but call upon you to interpret what is going on beneath
the surface, or sense the undercurrents in interactions with others.
Inner guidance is seeking you, and in this you also need discernment.
The voice you pay attention to needs to be inclusive and loving,
not exclusive and exploitive, so your task is to differentiate
between the voice of the ego, and the voice of Spirit. As you
move through this year gathering the clues, it can be a wonderful
opportunity for impressions that you translate into something
that adds more meaning to your own life and the lives of others.

Create, Create, and Create! Take the gifts that
are innately yours and find outlets that allow you to express
yourself in positive ways. You can inspire, motivate, persuade,
and do all the other things that bring something wonderful to
birth. Emotions are part of this mix, and when you allow yourself
to be victimized by other people's criticism or issues,
you lose the spark that is yours for this year. The idea here
is that you can be loving and supportive, but you are not to take
on the issues that another person has to contend with. This means
parents and children. Recognize how you can be most helpful where
it is called for without compromising the spark of magic and possibility
that is touching you this year. It is a wonderful time to get
in touch with your own inner child, be more playful and light
hearted, and to find things that bring you joy. See the world
through eyes that believe anything is possible, and you will draw
to yourself the things that make that reality. Beauty is important,
so surround yourself with things that make you smile, and be the
sunshine that causes others to be glad you are part of their lives.
It really can be a year where the ability to look at the absurdities
of life through a lens of humor transmutes difficulties into possibilities!

2008 is a great time to structure or restructure
things in your life that require more attention. You have the
wherewithal now to focus on what needs to be accomplished, and
your view is practical. It's time to make order out of chaos,
and to strengthen foundations in all areas of living. By keeping
your eye on the prize, and deferring frivolity in the moment,
you will come to the conclusion of the year with a strong sense
of pride and accomplishment. Otherwise, you may find yourself
trying to sidestep what needs to be done and having to take care
of bigger issues later. Be methodical, follow a blueprint, and
be willing to take risks needed to move you into a larger arena.
By believing more in what you have to offer, you can make headway
that overcomes inertia or feelings of not being good enough. You
are enough, and your efforts can bring the achievement you seek.
Fear is based on not knowing outcomes, but when you push a little
harder and do not give up in the face of obstacles, you will make
breakthroughs that allow for the transformation of your life and
others. |

Full speed ahead! However, watch for curves in
the road, and be discerning about where you are going and with
whom. There may be those who are full of promises and talk a good
story, but be aware that you may come up against someone this
year whose intentions are less than honorable. Insist on seeing
references, pay attention to track records, and be wary if you
are flattered into overlooking warning signs or signing something
without fully reading what you are agreeing to. This year is about
exploring options and expanding your vision and territory. It
is also about communication, information, and travel. There are
many choices, and opportunities to take multiple paths. Just make
sure you are realistic about how long things take, and choose
things that bring results to fruition, because if you just allow
the year to be a wild ride, you will become critical and appear
flaky - and that's not the intent of this otherwise
grand opportunity to widen horizons. Beyond the warnings, open
your arms and embrace possibility. This can be life changing!

The more gratitude you can find in your heart
this year, the more you will have to be grateful for. 2008 provides
an unusual mixture of duty and joy. The key is your attitude.
As you see all obligations as blessings, they become so. As you
feel resentful and unappreciated, you will draw more of that to
yourself. The focus is either on the letter of the law or the
spirit of the law. Are you getting back exactly what you put out,
or are others not giving you the respect you think you are due?
Truth is, you will receive exactly what you perceive, so if you
adopt an attitude of giving and doing because your heart is full
of gladness that you can do for others, you will be overwhelmed
by gratitude... even if it's only your own. Your opportunities
to express love are endless. Some of what appears unlovable is
most in need of love. So, recognize your gifts, give because you
can, and realize that your efforts become an agent for healing
and wellbeing of many. What an opportunity! |

You can achieve new levels of understanding this
year about yourself, your special areas of interest, and your
spiritual life. It's a wonderful time to put attention on
things that bring greater perspective and knowledge. Look beyond
the surface and find the clues that will tie loose ends together.
This can be a year of deep connections, with someone coming into
your life who is very special, or someone from the past returning
to complete unfinished business. All connections take on greater
meaning, and require that you determine what has value in your
life and what is merely superficial. In the seventh year, the
opportunity to deepen your spiritual understanding is marked,
so be sure that you do those things that bring you closer to the
inner wellspring of truth. In addition, take care of health concerns.
Listen to your body, and do those things that nourish and honor
yourself. Time spent in solitude is restorative, and there is
great healing through connection to nature in her many forms.
Appreciate quiet and beauty, and do those things that replenish
your soul. You will be glad you did! |

You may feel that you are "on call"
this year. You are in a sense. Life is a system of energy, and
you are asked to stand in the center of your life and bring things
into flowing balance and harmony. Where are you off in one area
of focus at the expense of everything else in your life, and where
have you forgotten to take time to smell the flowers, or to manage
and coordinate things in such a way that you are on top of what
needs doing? Life is not asking for perfection, but it is requiring
that you take a practical, no-nonsense approach to what is needed,
and then take the steps to bring things into balance. Too much
stress? Make time for massage, listen to music, sit in a hot tub.
The idea throughout the year is that you may be called upon to
be responsible... to direct and manage things. But you are
also asked to orchestrate your life in such a way that it becomes
a symphony rather than cacophony. This is a grand opportunity,
and you are up to the challenge. The rewards can be great, but
before they come, action steps are required. So, roll up your
sleeves, embrace the opportunity, and grab the baton. Conduct
away, and feel the empowerment that comes as a result!

This is a major point of completion, calling
upon you to determine what is important for the future, and what
is no longer necessary. This year offers opportunities to revisit
the past nine years and to see where you have grown beyond certain
ideas, people, and situations that no longer reflect who you have
become. You might say this year is about graduation. You are finishing
a major cycle, and the more you assess and digest, the more room
you make for new opportunities in 2009. Throughout 2008, you will
have the chance to see yourself from a larger perspective. Make
a point of taking the high ground in all situations, and be honest
with yourself about your role in what is happening. Where have
you outgrown the way you do things? Where are you clutching things
from the past that are no longer relevant? What needs to be purged?
As you reach out to Source for your supply, you feel grateful
and appreciative for what is. Everything becomes an opportunity
to grow. When you forget, and rely only on yourself, things may
feel stuck. You aren't alone, and by recognizing your need
for Divine assistance and ASKING for it, you will be given the
tools to make wise choices and release limitations from your life.
This is a big year. The implications go way beyond just now, so
make the most of it and let go of everything that is in the way
of you achieving your full potential.
