2005 OVERVIEW

2005 IS A 7 universal year. This means that throughout the world it is a year of soul searching. Who are we? Why are we here? What is the purpose of our lives? Everything pushes us to look for deeper meaning and to strip away misconceptions to find truth. Knowledge is important under the 7 influence, so we should look for advances in science and technology as well as new approaches to education.

To find out how 2005 influences your life, add the month and day of your birth to the number 7 and then add the numbers together until you have one digit between 1 and 9 remaining. Examples: Birthday: November 7. We add 11 (mo) + 7 (day) + 7 (Universal year) = 25. 2+5= 7. This person's year is the same as the universal year for 2005. Another example: Feb. 1. We add 2 + 1 + 7 = 10. 1+0= 1. This person's number for 2005 is 1.

Each month check your number for the year in the Numbers By Design column for insights and suggestions to assist you in making the most of the possibilities presented.

DECEMBER 2005 PROJECTION!

1.

Take stock of where you are and what is required to expand your life in a way that honors who you are, the commitments you have made, and allows for transforming those areas that need renewal. Rites of passage, surmounting limitations, exploring the previously unknown - all have seeds of growth and regeneration. Throw off self-imposed shackles that have caused you to doubt your abilities or deal in self-defeating patterns. Risk to grow, and be surprised at how much more life has to offer when you are willing to give up the need to control. A new day dawns... so make it splendid!

2.
There may be a push/pull between the urge to charge ahead or sideways and the part that wants to be left quietly in a meditation cave. Adventure lurks beyond every corner and all you need to do is say an enthusiastic "Yes!" Be aware of limitations to too much expansion - like 24 hours being all you have to spend in a day. Discernment is necessary so you don't get taken in by glib talkers and slick sales people, or those who want to take something from you. However, communications and travel are highlighted and can bring new ideas, experiences and/or interesting people into your world.

3.
Family, traditions, and sense of responsibility are important now. As you deal with the month through the lens of love, you are amply rewarded. When you do things out of the confines of obligation, that resentment is felt by others and you will find it mirrored back to you. It's a month for reunions and for letting bygones be past, forgiving and extending compassion and inclusion to all those who have meaning in your life, including yourself. Overcome tendencies to be "right" and follow the dictates of Live and let Live. Then everything will be that much more enjoyable for all concerned.

4.
The focus this month is on who you are and why you are here. It is also a time when you have an opportunity through events or a decision to go deeper into the heart of your own being - to feel the link in Spirit that feeds the soul and keeps you growing. If you avoid the internal view, life may force you to take time off, confronting you with events that require a second look. This month can feel like a blessing or a curse - it all depends on where you choose to put your focus.

5.
Now is the harvest for past action, so if you are being swamped by good tidings or find only a lump of coal in your stocking, both result from what you did or did not do to take care of whatever required attention. Do what is in front of you and find balance and achieve harmony through making time for work and time to play. Tai Chi is a great outlet for blocked energy, as is music and massage - so give yourself a holiday gift and do those things that help you maintain the system of energy you are in prime condition.

6.
It is a time of natural conclusions, graduation, and release. There may be old habits that no longer work, clothes that are outworn, relationships that end, and attitudes that no longer serve you. As you let go with love, you make space for new things to appear. If you clutch the past, you overload yourself with what is no longer living, and you block what can come for you. Gratitude for all that is brings more to be grateful for. Disillusionment and self-pity only feed the same. See from the highest point within yourself and project a larger viewpoint for those in need. When you project the light of understanding, you become a blessing and can inspire others who cannot see.

7.
Renewal and refreshment rise as your individuality and ability to lead are called upon. It's time to plant seeds for the future, and as you open doors to new opportunities, your world expands, and there can be assistance from unexpected sources. Be aware of the needs of others so you don't dismiss ideas summarily without giving opportunities for input by those who would like to help. Speak up about things that are important and lend your support to worthy causes. It's time to come out of the cave and move forward with confidence.

8.
Choices you make in relation to your thinking patterns, what you eat, and who you spend time with are important considerations this month. Focus on quality and then ask what in your life reflects that. If you are overwhelmed by unworthy elements, weed them out. Forge a stronger alliance with Spirit so that you benefit from the help of unseen aid in times of need. As you find your own inner light, you can reflect it for others. Some things may be delayed as there is an incubation period underway. Just as winter gives way to spring, what you envision will blossom in its time. Patience and perseverance pay off in the end, so steady the course with faith as your ally.

9.

Be full of childlike wonder and appreciate colors, sound, and beauty. This is a creative month of self-expression, and the more you allow yourself to play in wholesome ways, the more you benefit. Children and their concerns may be in the forefront, including you as the child, and your requirement is to love without being emotionally drained by other people's issues. You have the power of attraction and can inspire and motivate others - so don't let depressive types dampen your spirits. Instead, invite everyone to join you in a positive exchange of love and light. That way, those who come are enriched, and the negative ones stay home or find like minded others where they can remain self-absorbed in their grumbling.

2005: Compare the Year in Review

1.
This signals a new cycle in your life and a time of new beginnings. Although there may still be things to complete from the past, the focus will be on your individuality and forward movement. This can imply leadership positions, job or lifestyle shifts, or seeing yourself in a new light. It is an opportunity to develop more strength, stamina and a courageous view. Stand up and let your voice be counted. Just make sure that you are aware of the rights of others in the process and that you are acting in alliance with higher guidance, not out of impulse or boredom. You are planting seeds for this new phase of life, so make sure they are worthy of what you want to harvest.

2.
During 2005 the keyword is quality. It's time to weed out what isn't working within your thinking patterns, eating habits, and partnerships. Choices impact many areas of your life. See yourself as a beautiful being on Divine assignment. How do you want to feed the beautiful being you are? This relates to more than physical food - it includes the thoughts you feed your mind, the level of faith you exhibit, and the quality of partnerships you attract. Choose people who are mutually supportive and positive, and food that is nourishing and fulfilling. Negativity breeds ill health, whereas a positive outlook and choices that affirm your worthiness will help bring out the best in and for you throughout the year.

3.
Express yourself more creatively this year. Take a class in public speaking or join Toastmasters. Become a budding Picasso, or compose a lyrical piece. This is your year to put a star performance together - in whatever way that means for you. The important thing is that you celebrate, find joy, keep a vibrant sense of humor, and allow childlike belief in possibilities to emerge. Magical moments can occur during the year, as well as some emotional tugs on your heartstrings. Attitude, and the way you look at whatever is going on, will make a major difference in the effect it has on you and everyone else. When possible, be the one who holds the brighter vision.

4.
2005 is about building up or reconstructing, based on whether you have forged your identity on solid foundations or on quicksand. Look at attitudes you hold and see what's real and where you've bought into an illusion. Stabilize the valuable assets in your life and allow the unworthy elements to fall away. Through willingness to overcome obstacles, you can make major or minor breakthroughs that transform areas of your livelihood or life in general. Follow the blueprints if they are worthy, but be willing to think out of the box in order to see things from a fresh perspective. As you are confronted with rites of passage, take stock. Make decisions to enhance what's already working and to do something tangible about the things that are not.

5.
The watchword this year is change and movement. It's time to expand and explore possibilities, being flexible and adaptable in case of unexpected alterations to plans. You may feel as though you want to be free of constraints and will need to be discerning when you make major decisions. Are you acting on impulse, discretion, or a desire to revisit adolescence? In all contract situations, read the fine print. It is a good year for an adventure, just so long as you count the real cost. It's also a grand time to harness your enthusiasm and direct it into projects where outcomes will be beneficial. Open your arms and fly - just make sure that your parachute is in good working order!

6.
The focus for 2005 is on health and wellbeing. You may need to care for others or be more proactive about your own health issues. It is an excellent year for making a commitment to doing things for those you love. As you give with a loving heart, appreciation and joy comes to you. You can receive unexpected gifts or favors and feel a vital connection to everything meaningful in your life. On the other hand, if you experience resentment and feelings of burden and obligation, it is time to redefine what is and isn't working, and where you have gotten caught in unrealistic expectations for yourself or others. Take stock, be honest, and lovingly commit to what works and release what doesn't.

7.
The focus is on Knowledge. Know thyself. Dig deeper. Allow yourself to find and enrich your spiritual connection that is the wellspring of life. Enjoy time in nature or with specialized areas of study or interest. Take time for retreats or walks. Moments to yourself can be rewarding and fruitful. Otherwise, you may feel that life is cutting you off and forcing you to confront issues that have been festering. Meetings with significant others or people from the past bring resolutions or a fated connection. The key to this year is embracing truth, regardless of how it looks. When you let go of defenses and allow what isn't working to crumble, you open to the gifts of Spirit so that your life becomes an expression of the Creator's plan for you - not the demands of your ego.

8.
It's a time of harvest. What have you planted in the past eight years? The quality and caliber of your choices now bear fruit. Throughout the year you will benefit from your past efforts, or spend time taking care of what wasn't done right in the first place. It is a year in which to establish better management skills. Direct your life as though you are a symphony. Bring out the nuances of yourself and find balance so there is harmony. If you put everything into one goal or purpose at the expense of everything else, something will suffer. Powerful people can assist you, and you may receive recognition for past effort. Dance with life as yin/yang. The figure 8 says it all.

9.

The end of a cycle is now here. This means it's time to review, release, and graduate. What is no longer valuable or appropriate in your life? What thought patterns are keeping you stuck? It's time to let go and do major internal and external housecleaning. It's also time to focus on the bigger picture. Stand on top of the metaphorical mountain to gain an overview of why things are as they are. Reflect that for others. As you express a bigger vision, people take note. When you are small and petty, you lose your position. As you appreciate what you have, more comes. When you look for lack - you see it. Unconditional love begets more of the same from unexpected sources. Open your heart, expand your spiritual horizons, and express gratitude for all that is.
