The wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round
All the live long day
Jane! How do I stop this crazy thing?
THERE HAVE BEEN times in my life where it seemed I'm
not only spinning my wheels but I am also involved in a goodly sized
cyclone not of my own making. How I get caught up in this earth bound
craziness in the first place is simple - I stopped paying attention
to my energy patterns. How I get out is also very simple - I pay very
close attention to what my energy is currently doing. In order to extricate
myself from earth world madness I must first realize my state of being.
As everything in our life mirrors our internal self, the first clue
to this instability is the very visible chaos in the physical realm,
usually in relationships.
I am a massage instructor in a national school. The diversity of students
who pass through our classroom is a fantastic opportunity for all our
growth and invaluable learning for me. We are together for nine months,
nine short months, for me to instill all the knowledge they will need
to be professional therapists. In that blip of time in their lives,
I also do my best to show them another way of being. Meditation, teamwork,
thoughts create reality - the sort of knowledge that some have never
known existed. They eagerly soak in the wisdom that they're ready for,
keeping the seeds that have been planted for later use.
Around the time we begin learning the energy modalities is when the
chaos begins. I tell them well in advance to ground themselves often,
eat well, get enough sleep - because as a reiki master instructor I
know full well the energetic changes that will take place once we begin
playing with energy. The vibrational shifts begin several weeks prior
to the learning. I also know well the detoxification, and the utter
discomfort that these shifts produce when one is in resist mode. I do
my best to keep cohesion, politeness and just plain respect in the classroom
during this time. This takes diligence on my part, and the reason why
my nickname is now The Dura Mater (tough mother in German and the outer
layer of the meninges).
I let my attention slip for one day (hubby had several emergency hospital
visits that morning for uncontrollable nose bleeds) and that is all
it took to let three students take over the room with the rate of vibration
at which they were comfortable with! Compared to a full force 3 hurricane,
this lower vibrational energy made life miserable for all. With my mind
on home matters for the rest of the week, the energy spin's velocity
became seemingly irrepressible.
It hit me what was going on when I tried to meditate and found it impossible
due to the speed at which I was twirling! Purposefully slowing myself
down, then coming to a full stop, I realized that I had been caught
up in the frenzy just as easily as paper is blown around in a storm.
Looking back over similar situations, I saw just how simple it is to
become part of the debris in this type of energetic situation.
I penned this letter to my class, which I now share with their permission.
To my class:
I am grateful to all of those who have brought to my attention over
the past two weeks the level of disharmony that is occurring within
our classroom. There have been many students and for a variety of
reasons. Therefore, I think it best that I address this issue before
it spins so out of control that it will be hard to piece the integrity
back into place.
When people have disharmony within themselves it creates a spinning
effect within their energetic fields. Round and round they go, spin-spin-spin,
until they get accustomed to the rate of speed in which they twirl.
In order for them to remain unconscious of the level of disharmony
within themselves, they rile them selves up to a greater speed. If
they slowed down for any reason, conscious awareness of the fact of
the spinning would occur, something that twirling folks just cannot
handle. It may be that twirling is the only thing they know or it
was an inherited way of being.
Either way, spinning is running from the truth held deeply within
the self. "If I can just spin fast enough and long enough then I'll
never have to really see and become consciously aware of who I am
and who I have become. I don't have to deal with anything here in
Earth School that I don't know about. Na na na na na".
There is sometimes a great deal of pain associated with knowing the
truth inside. This pain has a name - fear. Remember there are only
2 forces that can move energy, and those forces are love and fear.
Spinning is as spinning does. Newton's 1st law is the Law of Inertia.
A body in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.
Mass (anything physical) that moves will slow down when it has no
force propelling it onward due to gravity's pull. Folks who twirl
will slow down when there is no chaos energy to keep them moving.
Spinning people must keep increasing the activity level outside of
themselves in order to maintain the level of spin they are comfortable
with- and if they increase it, the more the better!
So, as the spinner rotates, it's almost like being near a tornado.
The force of the band winds that circle to outskirts of the twister
cause great disturbances, they rip roofs off of houses, relocate vehicles,
and wreak havoc in the lives they contact. The more debris that the
tornado can pick up the more mass it accumulates- and the greater
the mass the greater the speed of rotation. Like the difference between
rolling a marble or a bowling ball down a hill. The bowling ball will
get to the bottom first, it's bigger and gravity can really get hold
of the weight. The bigger the tornado, the faster its spin equals
the degree of destruction that can occur.
Same goes for the human twister. The debris for the human spinner
has more to do with mental and emotional energy. They suck it up,
adding it to themselves to create mass. The more drama they can create,
the more debris they can pick up, the greater their power of destruction.
The more human damage that can occur all around them the more emotional
and mental energy they can use to gain power.
Fortunately (yes, fortunately) we have spinning activity going on
in our classroom. This gives us a fabulous opportunity for learning
how to deal with this issue in a safe place. This is what higher education
is all about! Yahoo!
The second part to Newton's Law of Inertia states a body at rest stays
at rest until an outside force acts upon it. We, those who get dizzy
and succumb to the spinning motion of others, can stop the chaos simply
by choosing to not spin. We can absolutely stop our motion, which
will cause the twirly people to decrease in speed by being near to
our inactivity. They won't like it much, because slowing down is uncomfortable
and the grand spinners will, of course, try to produce massive motion
to compensate. We are aware of this - and now we are prepared to deal
with it.
So, how do those of us who choose to remain in peace do so?
-
Ground yourself every time you recognize the feelings of spin. Lower
vibrational thought/emotional patterns such as anger, disappointment,
discouragement, pettiness, judgment and jealousy feed the motion.
Remember - thoughts are the creative force in the universe!
-
Remove yourself from the activity area. If you aren't around the
band winds they can't suck you in. You choose who you are near,
what you retain and if you rotate. And, if you are working in class
with someone who spins, this is a grand opportunity to build some
energetic muscles! In the real world you will encounter all sorts
of folks - so you'd better learn to deal with them now on your own
terms in a safe environment.
-
Call the twirlers on it! I am only one person. You absolutely have
the right to create the type of space in which you choose to learn
in. Sometimes it takes a village to get a person to recognize when
they are out of line. If we have to call a town square meeting,
it will be on lab day with all other learning put aside for the
day. Did you really pay all that money for group therapy? Remember
when I said we are a team, all in this together? I meant it.
-
You must remain in peace when dealing with spinners or they will
just suck you up, tear you to pieces and spit you out far from the
place where you want to be! Keep your calm and wits about you. Spinners
are tricky and treacherous manipulators when cornered, so walk in
complete love. Check yourself for the love part first making certain
it's not just ego.
-
Protect yourself and your energy body by placing yourself in a white
bubble prior to class. Also, ask St. Michael to clear your fields
and the classroom every morning. Ask that a bubble of poppy jasper
be placed around you- poppy jasper returns negativity back to the
sender in such a way that they learn from it. Zero karma for us.
I hope I have made myself clear on my position that chaos will not
be tolerated. There is a clause in the rule book that states if any
student is disruptive I may remove them from class for the day. The
spinning activities listed above are cause for getting the boot from
my classroom. So, if you want to spin faster, go ahead and create
the drama - you will just do it somewhere else.
Sincerely,
Your teacher,
Mrs. Lisa Gutowski
I received many heart felt Thank You's and the gratitude of the other
students as the spinning ones decide not to stay with us for further
learning. They were highly uncomfortable, to the point of pain, in our
calm higher vibrations. It is as always their path, they will walk it
as they best know how. As will we.
