We each have a responsibility of the ripple effect of our
own emotional waves. We are sacred Beings, each and every one of us.
We are constantly adding to the Pool of Oneness with our thoughts, words,
and deeds.
If we hurt another by careless words or actions, the ripples come
back to us, and usually amplified, carrying the debris and flotsam
of bitterness and re-sent-ments along with them.
Sometimes we need to address emotional issues with others. Sometimes
we cause great waves, and then spend much time trying to soothe the
effects of those tides. We are all bumbling along, learning how to
work with this power called Intent and Integrity.
Center and balance now, get comfy. Take several breaths. Imagine
you are standing in the Pool of Oneness. The Pool has become so large
and grand from so many loving Beings playing about, that it feels
like an ocean.
Allow an inner door of your soul Heart to open, and breathe deeply
the Love and Light your soul offers to you. Give yourself permission
to become as bright and as full as you can possibly handle, letting
your smile mark the fullness of the fuel tank.
As you breathe in Love and Light, it ripples outward from you. You
can feel this energy flowing outward from you. You can feel the Love
and Light from Others here, too.
There are many Beings of Light here in the Pool of Oneness. From
every country, every belief system, every age, every color and cloth
there can possibly be. Just feel the power of that Love for a moment.
Each Being resonates with a particular wave within the Pool of Oneness.
Some are lounging in still waters, some splashing about playfully,
some angrily making great waves. It's all good.
Feel your own energy within this Pool of Oneness. How do your own
waters ripple? What type of waves do you feel most comfortable with
at this NOW moment? Are you aware of the power of your own wave making?
Ah, that's why you are here today.
We are all part of this great Oneness. Sometimes when others are
making bigger waves, we forget our own power and find ourselves getting
carried away in others emotional waves. We forget that stillness and
calm serenity ripple outward from within us. We forget we are at cause.
We forget we are the wave makers too.
When you are angry, upset, judging and reacting to others ripples,
you bob along on the top of the waves, skimming the surface and swimming
frantically. You are unable to see the depths of Oneness, and the
bigger picture, because you are too busy reacting to what is floating
around you. You may feel powerless as though you are going to drown.
When you are still and feeling calm and serene and centered, you
anchor more deeply within the Pool of Oneness. This is what is meant
by still waters run deep. You are grounded, connected to Source. Unaffected
by the angry waves, you understand what it feels like to be a pillar
of energy. You see the Light above, and the sands below swirling around
your toes.
Think about your day, and what waves you created in the Pool of
Oneness. Did you create waves that empowered and supported others?
Were your waves tolerant and allowing? Forceful and demanding? Kind
and serene?
Did the waves you created today make you feel good about yourself
and others?
As you stand in the Pool of Oneness, think about the last time you
judged or were judged by someone. The words you shared had a tone
and ripple. What happens to the waves around you as you think on this?
What happens to your feeling of Oneness?
As you stand in this Pool of Oneness, out loud say the words "I
love you" and let them ripple outward. In a moment or two, your words
will come back and ripple upon you in gentle waves. Say it several
times if you wish.
We affect all others with our emotions, words, and actions. We constantly
ripple into the Pool of Oneness, whether we are aware of it or not.
Take a moment to hug yourself and say, "I love you." What happens
to the ripples around you?
Sometimes, as you open more to the Light of your soul, anger comes
unbidden to your door. You have been basking in the higher vibrations
of Divine Love, and anger simply isn't something you want to feel
any more. However, sometimes anger needs to bubble up. Anger is a
useful tool when used with care. It is a great teacher.
As you stand in this Pool of Oneness, reflect on a time when either
you were angry with another, or another was angry with you. What happens
to the waves around you? Dare to remain calm within and not react
as you reflect on this experience.
How were those around you affected by the ripples you created? Did
this create distance or closeness with others? Did you react with
greater waves, or did you soften and calm the ripples? Have you resolved
this experience with this person now?
Now think on this person and this event, and out loud say to them
"I love you." As you work through this, you will create new ripples
of compromise by your willingness to love. We are all One, so on some
level they will feel this.
Just as we must use our Love with caution, not being flamboyant
with our passion in inappropriate ways, so then we have the honor
of learning how to use anger in appropriate ways. Ways that are harmless
to self and others.
Allow the feeling of forgiveness to ripple outward from you. Breathe
it in fully into your being, and then let forgiveness flow outward
on your breath. You can direct it with your intent to another person
specifically, or simply into the Pool of Oneness where it will serve
its purpose. In a moment you will feel it ripple back to you.
Even if the other person is unwilling to resolve the issue, you
are free to move into calmer waters.
As we begin to work with Oneness, we need to remember to allow ourselves
all feelings, allow all ripples. Allow yourself to be honest about
your emotions in a way that is harmless to self and others. We can
learn to express our emotions in ways that do not create tidal waves
and tsunamis.
Emotions are best dealt with when the waves are small, before they
heat up and boil. Once we address our angers, frustrations, and resentments
and release them, the space where they used to reside is now a place
where more harmony can fill us.
If we want to change the ripples we are creating, then we must address
the issues that cause us to react. Speak out loud about it to yourself,
write it down, find another to speak with until you can calm yourself.
If we need to remove ourselves from a person, then we do so because
that is the most loving thing we can do for them and ourselves. If
we need to address a situation, or get outside help, taking care of
the problem helps to relieve our anger in an appropriate manner.
We are all One. What affects One, affects an Other. Some in this
Pool of Oneness are not affected by the waves of Others. Some are
learning, and some are bumbling about tossed in the waves.
The more we practice utilizing our skills of honesty, integrity,
and intent, the more we help all others in this Pool. Ripple Gentleness
and Compassion outward now to those needing assistance working through
difficult emotions. Ripple it outward, and then let it go.
It is important not to "hold onto" emotions, but to let them go
and flow. As we let emotions flow through us, then we learn not to
hold onto images and ideas of others in certain ways. This frees us
all simply be Who We Are at any given moment.
Ripples of fear can be just as harmful as ripples of anger. We have
all moved through feelings of fear and anger at some point in our
lives. So then, we can send out ripples of Gentle Strength to those
working through those waves. We are all One. What do ripples of Gentle
Strength feel like?
Waves of Love sent to others will help to bring about the ideas
that will assist them the most at this time, even if you are unable
to connect with them on a physical manner. Let Love do Love's work.
Understanding how your ripples of energy affect others, you will
take the time to address your emotions appropriately. If you have
difficulty expressing emotions, be brave enough to ask another Being
of Love for assistance. Then you will be free to anchor deeply in
still waters.
As you become centered in Love, you will feel unaffected by the
waves of others and be able to stay in loving balance. You may still
feel the energy and ripples of others, but they will not pull you
out of balance.
Some folks in the Pool may enjoy playing in rough waves, and may
even wish to linger and bask in them. Remember to honor the Free Will
of others. Remember that it is up to YOU what emotional waves you
wish to play in.
Enlightenment is a process. This process understands that all ripples
are necessary and will lead to the calm waters within, where Oneness
resides.
As you calm your own emotional waters, the more still and serene
within you will become, and the more Love, Tolerance, and Patience
you will have to offer to those still struggling. It will ripple out
from you wherever you go.
So, as you walk about this planet, think about the ocean of Oneness.
Water is made up of two parts air. The air around you is but a part
of this ocean of Oneness. You breathe it in, making it a part of you,
and send your essence outward on every out breath.
The more we practice being responsible for our own emotional waves,
and rippling with intent, the easier it becomes to walk among those
waving their discontent. We will be able to ripple serenity to them,
and be on our merry way, able to continue rippling waves of merriment.
So I send this idea outward to you, "I love you", and perhaps some
day a gentle breeze will come upon your sunny wet day, and you will
be touched with Love. I hope you will pass it on.
Ripple nicely everybuddy. Welcome home, and thank you for sharing.
