Dancing with Drag-ons
Do you have Drag-ons? Is your casual conversation with people usually covering a topic that is at least a week or more back in time, filled with re-sentments of past issues? Do you talk about people who are not present, and in an unkind way? Do you see people as they ARE, or holographically insert the old reruns of who did what to whom each time you see them? It takes Courage to be Mindful. To re-lease emotional elements from our Hearts. It is the movement from heart to Heart, mind to Mind, that lubricates and sets into motion the Desire to Heal within. But NOW is the Time of Your Cour-age, eh? Drag-ons favorite movement is A-Void-Dance. The dance floor is paved with bitterness, anger, judgment and self-justification. But Drag-ons can learn to be Present Minded. However, their diet needs to change. The recipe is quite simple actually: One bucket of Forgiveness (the bigger
the better, with butter) Drag-ons become rather lonely when left in the past. In the old consciousness, they feasted and frothed on hate, denial, blame and shame. Its an unsatisfying diet, really, because they can never find enough hate outside themselves to drown out the self hate within. Your Drag-ons get lonely when there is no more discord to feed on. They then have no choice but to learn to feast on this new diet of Unconditional Love, and witness a new dance. One You know the steps to. Accordance. ~*~*~*~ Visualize Your Self standing upon a dance floor. The Light is golden, and dimmed. There are many Others here. People You know. Relatives, friends, coworkers. Everyone You've had any relationship with is here. Everybuddy is here. In the center of the dance floor is a Drag-on. Oh, and a magnificent one indeed! Large and grand, dancing wildly. Part of the Drag-on seems fearsome and ugly, but there is Beauty within. You are not sure if the Drag-on sees this Beauty, but You do. There is an inner radiance lurking. Everybuddy is dancing around the Drag-on, but something is off. Everyone seems shy, each moving slowly to Their own rhythm to the music playing in the background. You try to get into the groove and dance with Others, but its not happening. Then you recognize the steps. Oh yes. You know this dance real well. It is A-Void-dance. You wonder why some People are here, Ones You feel in Harmony with. You try to dance with Them, but They also A-Void-dance. "When You A-Void-dance with One, You A-Void-dance with All," the Drag-on says, smiling satisfactorily. The Drag-on has many long cords wrapped around itself with various sized stones attached at each end. Each an emotional chord relating to Your relationship with an Other or Others in the room. They are discords of attachment. The Drag-on whips and twirls, swinging it's cargo of re-sent-ments around in a spectacular display. Drag-ons can be rather showy, and it is rather impressive. You are simply here to witness the show. Secretly and quietly, You have come to share a new dance. A two-step in tandem with Your Divine Self. Accordance. You step into the center of the floor, and all Eyes turn to You. You take a moment to breathe in Light, and Love, filling Your BE-ing. Then You place a platter of food before the Drag-on. It has been long warmed, and steam rises from it. The crowd stills and becomes silent. "Do You REALLY wish to BE in Accordance?" the Drag-on commands of You. It's words echo throughout the room. You feel challenged yet able under the direct gaze of the Drag-on. But look closer. There IS Beauty beneath the mask. "Yes, I Am ready." The Drag-on stops before You, and uncurls a long chord from itself, handing it to You. As Your Hands touch it, at once a knowing fills Your Awareness. There is an Other in the room that links to this emotional chord. You Feel and re-member the thoughts and beliefs that created this discord. The Drag-on disappears, and that One stands before You at the other end of the chord. At first You may be unsure. A-Void-dance may be the automatic response, because its familiar. But as You Avoid, the chord begins to wrap itself around Your Arm and work its way to Your Heart. You witness Your Heart Light fading, and what is even worse, the One standing before You dims, fades, Their Heart Light barely glowing. With horror You realize it will continue if this tether is not re-leased. You pick up the stone attached to the end of the chord, and hold it to Your Heart. They are both heavy to hold. "I Am in Accordance with (name of person). WE now dance in Harmony." Visualize this One before You NOW. Allow the Voice of Your Soul Hearts to speak. Partake of this banquet of Forgiveness You have carefully prepared. If the Feeling Tones become uncomfortable, BREATHE IN LOVE. Stay with it. Dare to stay with it. Heal it. Transform it. Say all there is to say until there IS Harmony between You. Breathe in the Feeling Tone of Forgiveness, and Forgive Your Self first for dancing the game inharmoniously with this One. Images of past issues may come to Mind. Let them flow and go. Do not pause to make a story out of them. They were only personality issues created from mind. Silence is the fuel that accelerates the Power of Forgiveness. Stay with the breath, breathing in Love and Forgiveness no matter the tears or fears that bubble up. You will know when its all healed. When it is healed, You look down at the stone against Your Heart. It is now glowing golden. The One that stands before You beams. The stone is now charged with Forgiveness, and Tolerance. The chord that once tethered it dis-solves into the nothingness from which it was formed. You give the stone to the One You are now in Accordance with. They hold it to Their Soul Heart. There need only be willingness to be in Accordance. A stir of Excitement bubbles up in the crowd. You turn around, and behold the Drag-on, and are in Awe. Where once the chord of A-Void-Dance had been tethered, now a beautiful radiant Gem glows in its place upon its body. The Drag-on swirls and spins, chords and tethers falling wildly about and detaching themselves. Gratitude glows from It's Eyes, and great wings begin to unfurl. Whereas before the Drag-on appeared ugly, oppressive, loathsome, You now witness the transformation into Beauty, Harmony, Accordance. The Drag-on is no longer a shadowy form of discontent, but a glowing radiant jeweled beast. Heart Light bursts forth from Your Breast, finding connection with the Drag-on's jeweled Heart. "Thank You for teaching Me a new dance," the Drag-on says. You may wish to linger here and speak together for a few moments. When the conversation is done, You turn around and see Your Self standing before a large mirrored wall. There is only You in the reflection, and You cannot see the images of the Others in the room. No chords or tethers impinge Your movement. You are in Accordance with Self. You turn around to thank Everybuddy for coming, but there is only You, the dance floor, and many radiant jewels scattered about the floor, where once a Drag-on danced. And in the distance there is the sound of great wings enveloping the wind. Welcome Home, and thank You for sharing.
