Funny how often we take our modern conveniences for granted until we have a power outage like this. I went and got flashlights so we could read books. In other words, when the balance of power was "upset" by this outage, we had a choice to remain inwardly cool until "outer power" returned. We can use our inner divine power to see this as a "set up" by being aware that options are always available. Rather than be "UPSET," we can hit our internal "RESET" switch for a fresh start in the circle of all possibilities.

Last week when my husband, Duaine, was using the electric hedge trimmer outside, it suddenly quit working. He came inside to hit the "RESET" switch on the wall receptacle, which is called a GFI, an acronym for Ground Fault Interceptor. That means that the power has shorted out or been intercepted. It alerts you that power is not being properly distributed and could potentially be on overload with extreme power volts that could do serious damage (which can happen when one is also OUTRAGED). Usually when this happens, all you have to do is hit the red RESET button. So, a power outage actually serves a higher purpose by not overloading the circuitry.

As humans, we also go on OVERLOAD. Our inner GFI switch is fed back to alert us through our NEGATIVE FEEEELINGS loop (anger, frustration, lack, pain, dissatisfaction, jealously, etc.). We are each either plugged in or disconnected circuits of energy and constantly "fluctuate" between those two polarities--with many degrees of higher or lower intensity. Negative emotion is always present as an indicator that you are in resistance (pushing against something). It's a warning signal because something has tripped your triggers. Our internal GFI RESET switch can be immediately upgraded to Get Focused Intentions. We get our "shift" together by making a new decision in the diversity of contrast. This then transforms and zaps any contrast into a new current of connection by launching fresh new rockets of desires. You then generate, radiate and pulsate new emotional tones that feeeel good to "UP" your vibration. Many years ago I had bumper stickers made that said, "UP YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS." As you goose up your imagination and FOCUS on your heart's desires and intentions, you attract a fresh new vibrational signal of well-being. The Universe then conspires on your behalf, as you become an "upgraded" human magnet by having clarity and rejoicing in new choices with a high, fast, pure vibration.

Your emotions--positive or negative--are always the conduits that are being turned "on" or "off" to Source by how you are flowing your energy. Are you a conductor or a resistor, a creator or reactor? Intent is the most powerful tool you have available. As we pray it out, say it out, and lay it out to the Universe, you are naming and claiming your highest outcomes. Divine currents of energy and connection are always available when you attune and plug in. When you "speak the word" (your genesis of verbal intentions) it is an even more powerful communication and vibration being broadcast. It amplifies your frequency and surges new power when you verbalize your heart's desire out loud. Ask, then allow and receive. What comes out of our mouth comes into our world. Another way of expressing is that what comes out of our mouth comes back into our ears. It is clearly our divine command of authority being spoken out loud and heard at new levels.

Recently, my friend Ann gave me post-it-notes that said, "Why let reality wreck your day!" In my book, Magnetizing Your Heart's Desire, a similar thought is shared, "Never--ever pay attention to reality unless it is perfect in every way." To balance yourself energetically and get back in the flow of your stream of well being emotionally and deliberately hit your "reset switch!" That process will include moving from "if only" and the blame game of nursing, cursing, and rehearsing your problems to recognizing you are reacting and can make a fresh start from your heart. You may even call a good friend to briefly share your "temporary outage or outrages," who may help you upgrade energetically. Or, call upon your angels and register your "complaints" (knowing what you don't want) and ask for creative assistance to UP your consciousness (thinking about what you do want and feed that energy and pulse those passions). You create new vibrational matches as you output your desires through your heartfelt emotions (e-motion=energy in motion). Make a new decision with a fresh vision of being in the state of I CREATE. Ignore current reality while new seeds and intentions are planted. Honor yourself as the delicious Deliberate Creator you are, as you fine tune and unleash your highest heart's desires. In your imagination, know your blessings are already here. Don't tell the Universe "how"--just know they are being divinely timed. Then consider it done.

You will always know when you have hit the GFI reset switch and transformed energy by the way you feeeel. Find the vibration that feeeels good! Choose feelings that empower you and your life. Remember, beliefs are only thoughts you keep thinking. JOY and HUMOR are your guaranteed connections and start laughing more! Be in appreciation and gratitude for the infinite blessings that are evident and come your way every day. And, be sure to take time to PLAY! As you plant your dreams, miracles will grow.
