FIRST, I WOULD LIKE to say Happy New Year to everyone. I hope your holidays were wonderful! I am honored to be doing music reviews for PLW. Thank you for welcoming me into this amazing magazine.

The New Year is a time for reflection and a time of planting new seeds for the future. Are you happy with the fruits of your manifestation for the last year? Set your intention on what you want in your life, keep a clear focus on it, and then forget about it. It will return to you as a reflection of what you know to be truth.

A big focus for the New Year, for me, is a continuing change of the race mind. The race mind is the collective energy that covers our planet that most people unknowingly tap into. It is the source of societal norms and ills, humanity's collective thoughts about everything that can limit the creative ability, and the God consciousness of those that cannot break free from it. We are at time where we need to shine in our independence, true power, and oneness with all that is. When enough people do this, we will shift the race mind from a source of limitation and destruction, to one that aids in humanity's growth and enlightenment. It is time to remember who we are and to fully be in our place of truth!

A sparkling transformational new release in time for the New Year!

I can't think of a better way to wake up in the morning than to the voice of an angel. Vocalist Rebecca Hilton is that voice. This ingenious CD was created as a guided visualization which can be used with a CD alarm clock to softly wake you up while programming your day for miracles. There are subsequent tracks that can be used anytime of day. The first track is probably the most important, in that it speaks to the subconscious with suggestions of abundance, peace, protection, spiritual wellness, and much more. It gently brings you out of the sleep state and starts your day with a healthy sense of living in the now without fear, while affirming miracles in daily life. This information feels as if it was channeled from the loving celestial realm to inspire the awakening divinity within us all. Inspired by the movie What the Bleep Do We (K)now!?, it specifically includes affirmations to positively affect the quantum field.

The second track is an inspirational song called "I Am Here Now". This truly celebratory song focuses on being in the present moment, remembering our oneness with God, and receiving limitless abundance from the universe. Rebecca Hilton, accompanied by the powerful background vocals of Wen Boley, makes this song come alive. Wen’s keyboard music is ethereal and hauntingly beautiful. The third track is another guided visualization that is a little bit louder than the first and can be used day or night.

"I Am Here Now" is also the fourth track, repeated as a follow-up to the previous visualization. And finally, Rebecca discusses how to use the CD and gives inspired insight into the spiritual principals behind its creation.

Personally, I have seen positive results in the two weeks I have been doing the guided visualizations. Create Your Day helps me feel inspired, creative and ready to go into my day. I strongly recommend this CD as a tool for your empowerment!

A debut CD for Saggio, Thunder of Silence feels as if it were created to help unfold our inner mysteries and unlock the greatness within us. This very soothing, creative, and haunting music would be great for meditation or body work. There is a quality to it that calms the nerves, quiets the mind, and encourages a deeper connection with spirit. Saggio's flute playing is imaginative and magical, sounding guided by a higher source. Riki Newell’s guitar playing balances nicely with the Native American flute sound. Amazingly Saggio claims he has never learned to play the flute, rather, this music comes to him like an old friend from another life. All five tracks on this CD are highly effective for inner exploration. Let the journey begin!

S O R M A
Illusion
Label: Pacific Moon

Illusion is the second release by the Japanese group Sorma, and is distributed by Allegro in the United States. Sorma is a five member group led by Yohichi Shimada. According to an online search, Sorma means "secret medicine" in classical Greek. I love this experimental, trance energy-filled music! This style reminds me of rave music but has a cosmic energy mixed with dance rhythms. Illusion has originality and great production - overall a very vibrant and electrifying work of art. If you need something to get you energized and ready to dance, I highly recommend this CD.
