I was lucky enough to see Wendy Rule in concert a couple of months ago at the Mercury Cafe in Denver - all the way from Australia and I might add she was awesome! Wendy puts on an amazing and very entertaining show.
Breathy-aired Wendy starts her disc with "Circle Song" which evokes elemental circle casting. She also began her concert with this song and saged the audience to create a sacred space for the evening. It was magical and very uplifting. The second track, "The Wolf Sky", is the strongest most upbeat song on this disc. It is very shamanic, memorable and mysterious.

Songs like "Oblivion" and "Half Life" venture into a more free-flowing psychedelic vibe which I thoroughly enjoyed! Another stand out was the more serious and dark "Evolution" - what a creative little number. Even the last song is filled with ritual; "Elemental Chant" is a grand finale for Wendy's magically packed thirteen track disc.
Passionate Wendy Rule is a strong Pagan who vocalizes her beliefs in her songs. It is obvious that Wendy put a lot of her soul into the creation of this release! What can I say, another fantastic CD from the enchanting Wendy Rule!
The Wolf Sky was produced by Adam Calaitzis, who also produced Wendy's first album Zero 10 years ago. The Wolf Sky features Rachel Samuel on cello, Craig Patterson on keyboards, and William Griffiths on drums, as well as many guest artists.
I highly recommend this release!

My first impression of Auracle was that it was like being in a planetarium with the stars spinning back and forth and all around.
I find this music magically entrancing, illuminating, rejuvenating, tranquil and enchanting!
If you want a futuristic, powerful and celestial CD to meditate with, then this is the one!
Let these blissful soundscapes take you to that special inner journey!
This disc would be great for not only for meditation, but for healing work/massage/Yoga or to just melt away the day's tensions.
The five incredible tracks on this disc utilize the sounds of bells, chimes, shakuhachi flute and electronic space sounds to make for a hauntingly beautiful blend of music - creating a very cosmic CD!
Give it a spin!
Feel free to listen to some Maneki Neko mp3's here.

Some Songs To The Stars is just one project that The Knossus Project has under their umbrella. The Knossus Project promotes integreated sustainable systems. They encourage building green roofs and producing green books, movies and music. Their goal is to educate us toward a greener, more sustainable world and to integrate technology, nature and humanity into everyday existence.
The CD itself is somewhat experimental sounding, yet soothing , spacey and celestial.
There are nine tracks on this disc starting with "Distant Star". The first four tracks, especially "Distant Star", remind me of the music played on the 60's series Star Trek. From the fifth track "Arasian" to the last and title track "Songs To The Stars", the CD becomes more ethereal and meditative.
The back of the CD reads "Music from the film by: Tzelov, Based on the poetry of: Ian Mcharo."
Songs To The Stars is a great ambient CD to kick back and relax to, and you can listen to samples here.
