Sometimes I go symmetrical nuts... you see I have this thing about the order
something has, which is probably why I enjoy creating mirror images in my work.
Of course this piece is meant more for the spiritual soothing and
the angelical ecstasy that surrounds her, moves through her,
and shows upon her face ......

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Ali Ries has been immersed in the metaphysical realms since she was a child. Perhaps because of this, now in her 51st year, she still looks at life and nature with the wonder and awe found in a twelve year old.

A retired nurse in Salem, Oregon, happily married, and mother of two wonderful kids, Ali considers herself an empath. Healing has been very important to her, and at different times over the years she has explored many therapeutic techniques. Color therapy has made the most impact in her life and this is why she enjoys the Arts. As she states, "It's not only a means of expression but there is a beautiful exchange of healing using color." Ali feels that if her art can make someone smile, feel good, or just have a hearty laugh, then she considers herself a successful artist.
