T H E  T H I N G S  I ' V E  S E E N

THE THINGS I've seen led me to be apathetic toward natural living.
The things I've seen took my soul to an unknown realm.
The things I've seen changed me into a cold person incapable of tears.
The things I've seen crushed my hopes, pressing me into a corner of no return.
The things I've seen forced me to walk between darkened walls.

Due to the things I've seen I prefer to close my eyes
and live inside an eternal dream.

C A P T U R E  T H E  S U N

I'm sorry that I lied to you.
I promised you the moon but I just couldn't reach it.
The truth is that I never wanted to reach it,
the moon already belongs to many people.

I wanted to give you something else, something different, unique,
Some place no human being has ever visited, and no one is able to reach.
That something is the sun; the only place in the world where there is enough
heat to mirror the amount of passion that my heart has for you.

BEFORE WE SAID goodbye you promised me that you'd always be the sun in the sky,
and whenever there's a hot day I'd know that it's me you want to feel again and again.

Beams of light will touch my heart and I will feel your soul's warmth.
It will be a ray of love, and I will know that I'm the one you're still in love with.

Now I'm here, touching and feeling, trying to heal from those lost feelings,
because you went away and all that I have left is a sense of the past.

T R A N S I T I O N S  O F  E T E R N A L  Y O U T H


Many years have passed since I was a little boy. I've already forgotten some of the
experiences I had left aside, all those feelings I experienced during those adventures.
Time did a fine job of intertwining my young soul into this body, and this 'me'.

I wish that the fountain of youth that I once believed to be true existed. A fountain
that had the power to take me back to the eternal era and to another lifetime.

Back to the time of innocence when new discoveries were exciting - just like life
itself. Back to the innocent expectations and the different experiences I had
during those years. Back to the simple life, and back to the thought that
my life will live on throughout eternity.

Nadav Dov Boretzki, is 23 years old and lives in Rishon Le Zion, Israel. He has been passionately exploring photography since he was 15 years old. Nadav's aim for photography ATM is to share deeply personal concepts, where you as the viewer can not only see his intentions and experience his interpretation, but connect with him directly through the photograph and prose.  Some of his images and text are drawn from his feelings, some are part of what he feels from his subjects, the environment, models and surroundings.
