ABOUT THE ARTIST

Nathan M. Smith, was born in Riverside, California. He has always loved art and technology. He likes to meld the two by combining fractals (mathematically generated art) with painting in Photoshop. He has been an elementary school teacher for a number of years, and now works as Director of Technology for the College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University. He and his wife of 29 years, Phyllis, have seven beautiful children, and reside in scenic northern Utah.
