... a thought of silence
From the beginning I wanted my focus in photography
to be around the beauty and significance of the small things in life
that go unnoticed; the often strange, at times
unattractive,
haunting and dead - not worthy to be called art.
•
For me, of all things...
it's the familiar which surprises me the most
when seen from a new perspective.
•
If we don’t give attention to these small things,
we can never
honestly and completely appreciate the amazing
sophistication of living out our human lives.

...life is more than just what you 'see'.
I’ve often imagined what it will be like later on,
When I’m older and the roads are worn like the land.
When the blanket of noise and ash spreads to those,
Who do not know the granite roads down near the shore.
•
The things that are happening in my life
are nothing that I'm not used to.
•
Together, we have come to know ourselves more.
We now have come to accept the things at first we denied.
And while learning more of 'the other' person,
there is joy in the willingness to wholly accept them
for whom they identify themselves as.

...exploring unseen emotion
It can be a burden living in peaceful ignorance.
•
From where does our sense of protection originate?
•
...Like most of my flower captures, the blossoms are either
in their prime or near death.
To me, they more closely represent true reality this way, providing a
more provocative platform for the viewer's self discovery.

...I see nature admiring itself
Open your eyes my friend to the beautiful world of dead matter.
You are everything and more.
•
The complexity and detail in these small things
is the reason why I love nature so much.
•
When time freezes in tranquility and all worries fade in
the shadow behind the personal realm of inner peace,
here I find myself...living an unedited life.
Love,
