I discovered myself in circles of fear, in rushes of excitement, in bursting with love. I discovered myself in the pitch black of night and in the blinding bright sun. I discovered myself in a smile, in the touch of a hand, in the words of a king.

I found myself in the history of creation, in ancient times, in the mist rolling from the sea. I found myself in the caves of Wales, in the hills of Ireland, in the green grasses of England. I found myself in the wailing tunes of Gaelic, and the ships beyond the bay. I found myself with child, and humming haunting lullabies.

I reached for myself in the stars, in the screams of the crowd, in the passing thoughts of strangers. I reached for myself in an empty carriage on the path, in a wandering child's heart, in the face of an angel. I reached for myself in the cries of a hawk, in the middle of a cloud, in the reflection from the glass.

I closed my eyes and imagined myself, created myself, ran with myself through the darkness and into the light. I carried myself into the heat, into the rain, and into the mud. I walked with myself to meet glory. I believed in myself and there I was.
