you like to attend a Writer's Conference? When writing something for publication, it may be helpful to remember the audience with whom you are targeting the material towards. Find a unique angle that you have not seen in any other publication. Finding an agent to assist you in presenting your material to publishers, is very important. Many publishers will not accept manuscripts given to them by individuals, and will promptly send them back with a letter telling you to find an agent.
