WHETHER PHYSICALLY DIVING into a tranquil blue lagoon or plunging into emotional, mental or spiritual waters - the transformative process of immersing into a moment or journey often surfaces unanticipated opulent gems. The above piece manifested from this very experience, and is part of Jelena's series "Dive". Created to reflect the ever-present opportunity for positive transformation, they seek to nudge forth conscious activation of one's most wildest dreams, and are an invitation to tap into magical possibilities and potentials. Each are interwoven with both submerged (unconscious) and surfacing (awakening) dimensions - reminding the self of one's own infinite and majestic depths within. Dive: go deeper and surface your inner diamonds. Zambullida: vaya más profundo y emerja sus diamantes internos.

Born with an innate desire to express life through creativity, Jelena has a deep passion for soul-empowering and visionary projects and a world that honours the sacredness in love, truth and real beauty.

In her current work Jelena explores the beauty of the universe, both within us and out, through the medium of digital art. These vibrant and evocative pieces begin from a blank digital canvas, Jelena makes her art by interweaving numerous individual layers. Each layer is created by hand, using the mouse and keyboard like brushes, and manifest through an understanding of colour, composition and form - the same principles applied in traditional art. Jelena has been working with this technique for over 7 years, and is one that she continues to develop. Other mediums of choice include digital photography, photographic manipulations, life drawing, mixed media and body painting.

Jelena's work has been published in Australia and the US. She currently sits on the Art IM Board and is an active creative workshop facilitator, teaching both children and adults. An advocate of the principle anything is possible, Jelena recently launched her work in Europe during Spain's Harmonia festival.

Jelena's art brings into view that which might not be ordinarily visible to the human eye. Is it true? The truth is in your own heart.
