Marcia lives in the central Ohio area with her husband and several feline friends. She received her Fine Arts degree from Miami University and is a Registered Nurse, Licensed Independent Social Worker and Reiki practitioner, all healing professions that have shaped her life and informed her art. She currently works full time as a painter and illustrator.

Her art and illustrations are widely collected and have won many awards. She has created covers for books, magazines and CD's including SageWoman, The BeltanePapers, Rocky Mountain Dream Journal, New Awakenings, Circle Magazine, Essential Wellness, and Sky Light Publishing. Her art has appeared in calendars published by Amber Lotus, The Crossing Press, We'Moon 2007 and Spirit Voyage Publishing.

My artwork incorporates symbolic elements drawn from personal, mythic and archetypal imagery. Using symbols as psychic touchstones,
images emerge as visions from the soul.
