Working from her imagination, Marcia's paintings incorporate symbolic elements drawn from personal, mythic and archetypal imagery. The artist seeks to create images that speak a universal language and become psychic touchstones for spiritual expression. Besides being a professional artist, Marcia has worked as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Social Worker, both healing professions that have shaped her life and informed her art.

Marcia lives in central Ohio with her husband, Jan, and an assortment of feline friends.
