I FIRST BECAME AWARE OF THE ASCENSION PATH during the time of the Harmonic Convergence. The Ascension is the lifting of the vibratory rate of both the planet and of humanity, which will enable both to evolve from the dense lower energy of third dimension to that of the more refined spiritual energy of the fifth. The Harmonic Convergence was a timely and crucial world event that brought together groups of lightworkers from all over the world, their combined energy during meditation used to create a shift in planetary consciousness. It was during this event that I had my first ‘wake up call’, which for lightworkers is the equivalent of a hefty nudge in the ribs from our guides to wake up to our true mission. I was given something to read on ‘starseeds’. Starseeds are highly evolved beings from other planets that have chosen to incarnate here on earth to help birth both the planet and humanity into the light of the higher dimensions and I can still remember the buzz of excitement that rippled through me as I read this information; it resonated with me on a deep cellular level. From that moment on I read everything I could get my hands on. I ached to believe everything I was reading, but a part of me was still uncertain that something so utterly mind-blowing could actually be true. My second wake up call was far less pleasant and led to me being chucked unceremoniously into another dimension. Having gone to bed alone, I woke up out of my body to find a man in the bed with me. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. I later learned that he was a young man and earthbound through fear of moving on. He pestered me for a number of years, his main mission being trying to seduce me. If this wasn’t a bad enough, demonic elementals with long, bony fingers ending in thick claw-like nails, also attacked me. Acting purely on animal instinct they were attracted by my spiritual light; they came for a quick energy fix and also to try and get their leg over. At the time I knew very little about protecting myself from such unwanted advances. But I have since learned how to call on my guides and angels and also how to shield my light against their attention. During this period I had my third wake up call, which was by far the most life changing for me. Following some inner guiding voice I had just left employment as an occupational therapist for the NHS. I had no further employment lined up and very little money, but as I was deeply unhappy and becoming exhausted through lack of sleep, I felt I just had to leave. Having also recently separated from my husband after 23 years of marriage, watched my mother die of cancer, and helped my eighteen year old daughter through the birth of her first child, I was also feeling overwhelmed with many conflicting emotions. During the following weeks of rest and recuperation, I happened to pick up one of my ascension books and decided to try one of the meditations it described. The one that caught my eye was a meditation on meeting the ‘Lightbody’ or higher self. Lighting a candle, I called on my Mother/Father/God, guides and angels. After a few minutes of turning within, I used the visualization exercise described, while also calling on the presence of my Lightbody. To my amazement a sphere of golden light appeared above my head and slowly descended down and around my body. Its energy felt magnetic; much like the sensation of either propulsion or repulsion between two magnets. From that moment on my Lightbody has continued to visit and merge with me, bringing more and more energy into my body with each consecutive visit. Following this wake up call, I also became aware of the presence of my guides. I felt their energy around me day and night, their hands touching me and manipulating my energy field. For three months they cleared my body of all negative energy, which they pulled out of me in long treacle like strands. The clearing finished they then began to work on raising my vibratory rate. Since then, almost everything I have done, I have done with their guidance. It
was soon after this that I was guided to work with the angels. Having
time to indulge myself in artwork was something I had missed desperately
while being in full time work. So during this sabbatical, I decided
to indulge myself and began drawing again. I began by using symbolic
art as a means of channeling my emotions, something I had also used
with some success with my patients in the NHS. I went on to draw faeries,
losing myself in what I saw as an alternative and more pleasant reality. But as always happens when our guides are trying to get our attention, the idea refused to budge. At last it dawned on me that the suggestion was coming from the higher dimensions and I knew I had to give this suggestion some concentrated effort. So I lit a candle, turned within, and called on the angels for assistance. I felt their energy as a cool airy sensation, around me. I sat with this soft comforting energy for fifteen minutes just allowing it to merge and mingle with my auric field. Then I thanked them, asked them to stay to assist me, and picked up my coloured pencils. I couldn’t tell you how the idea for the Angel of Peace appeared to me. All I know is that I started drawing and she began to appear on the sheet in front of me. I have since completed eighteen angels and have many more in my head as though they are lining up waiting to be birthed into beautiful artwork. Angels do exist and they want nothing more than to help, but as we all have free will, they have to be asked. So if you need help with any area of your life, call on the angels, tell them what you want, and then thank them; that’s all it takes. Who knows just what you might be capable of with a little of their help? Merry
