| Sound Advice WELCOME BACK EVERYONE! My name is Barry Goldstein and I will be your vibrational guide in this re-occurring column and I am so happy to share "Sound Advice" that can assist you in empowering your self and creating energetic balance in your life!
When we use words that carry lower vibrations, emotions are stored and blocks may occur in any of the four bodies. These blocks can eventually create a lack of flow in the physical, which may result in dis-ease. The words we send out also create an attraction pattern in our lives. So how can we create more conscious language in our life's to assist in our energetic flow? There are three major steps we can take in this process:
Envision Envision... new Sound Healers, Global Musicians and Visionaries shifting the consciousness through sound! Each month we will feature at least two new visionaries that are sharing their gift of sound with the world. Envision is truly being immersed in vision. These individuals with their unique and innovative approaches are changing the world and shifting the paradigm of how we share music! When I speak of innovative approaches using music, John Beltzer's name is in the forefront.
JOHN BELTZER In 1996, John Beltzer created Songs of Love to provide sick children with a source of inspiration, joy and possibly even healing. Inspired by the song "Songs Of Love" that was written by his brother Julio Beltzer two months before he died in 1984, John moved forward in creating Songs of Love foundation, the only non-profit organization of its kind. By using "music as medicine," Songs of Love provides each child with a personal song using their names, favorite things, family members and fun things they like to do. Kids cannot believe they hear all their names and favorite things and these songs become vehicles to assist the child and family members through the challenge of illness.
Songs of Love has grown from the first song composed in February of
1996. John remembers the little voice of 5 year old Brittany as she
said "Thank you for my song" to John over 11 years ago. Approaching
the 12,000th song this year, songs have been created by stars such as
David Lee Roth, The Cast of Titanic and even The Chamber Music
Society of Lincoln Center. Songs are now composed by over 350 talented
artists worldwide.
JULIE BLUE Julie Blue has traveled around the world making music and breathing it into her audiences. She believes music to be the international language of the heart and listening to the purity in Julie's voice confirms this. Her lists of credits include "Stolen Lives: Children In the Sex Trade" which earned her a Leo award for Best Musical Score. Julie also directed the Children's Chorus on John Denver's final album and has her own recording studio in North Vancouver. She has composed for over 50 film and television shows and is the founder of Singspiration Creative Empowerment Training, a program that is dedicated to teaching others how to use their voice. She has opened for best selling authors such as Marianne Williams and Harv Eker and always takes the audiences to new levels with her music!
Julie unveils the life-changing journey she embarked upon in the making
of her new album "One of a Kind Woman". Julie shares the tale of how
she was saved from the Tsunami from creating our featured Play It Forward
song of the week "Finding Grace". Julie shares the inspirational messages
and the challenges she moved through to create this album including

Each
month we will give our readers tools to move through existing blocks
by using sound, vibration and music. In this segment we focus on how
we can create shifts and move through energetic blocks by bringing conscious
language into our lives. Our words carry very strong messages to our
physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. Emotions are very
often attached to our words, which send out stimuli or messages to our
four bodies. The words we use either create energetic flow or lack of
flow. When we create energetic flow with our words emotion (energy in
motion) things move in ease.
Let
me give you an example, in a recent sound healing session a client began
to share her thoughts about here current work environment. "Things at
work have gotten toxic and it has been hell for me and I have to get
out of there." She also shared that she has experienced lack of energy
and re-occurring pain in her legs which has resulted in a lack of mobility.
When I asked her to become the conscious observer of her language we
were able to identify that the words toxic and hell were sending out
negative emotional patterns within her four bodies. The word toxic meant
poisonous to her, contaminating everything within the environment. When
I asked her how that felt she said "very heavy". Heavy enough to create
a challenge in mobility? AHA MOMENT! Is it possible that a lack of movement
(I have to get out of there) combined with a toxicity and comparing
the environment to hell (certainly a conception of a lower vibrational
area... lol, could be creating a block of some kind? It feels heavy
just writing about it. We both agreed that although her work environment
was not ideal it was hardly toxic and not quite hell! Were there higher
vibratory words we could replace them with now that we identified them?
Absolutely!
Toxic
was replaced by the word troublesome initially and then replaced again
by the world challenging. A challenge is something that we can rise
above. Hell was replaced with the term a "non ideal" environment. These
phrases felt much more manageable and lighter to her. She was able to
see her self "move" out of this environment. Very often my sessions
start in this initial phase and breakthroughs are created before my
clients event reach the table. After I attuned her chakras(using tuning
forks) and worked with her Auric field she was amazed at how much energy
she had and was excited about a new feeling of lightness. This is our
natural state!
