WHEN WE LOOK AT THE HISTORY of the world, we sometimes
get the idea that the only way in which change takes place in peoples'
lives At this time, we are poised to experience change from the inside. We are entering an age in which so many of the supposedly "normal" experiences of our lives are not going to suit our personal senses of integrity any more. Consequently, we are being led quietly into the "Silent, Inner Revolution." It is a great time for self-empowerment and although our ultimate destination is a recognition of our Truth, there are inevitably many pitfalls and potential diversions along the way. The great thing for us all to recognize, is that the "Silent Revolution" is taking place anyway, and for us to allow ourselves to relax into it, so that we can more easily catch this season of change with a deep sense of fun and humor, rather than immobilizing fear. If you think you are handling it, get ready to let go! At this precious time as we enter into a New Year, we have the possibility to stop in our lives. We can pause for a breath and a review of everything that has passed over time. We have a chance to reevaluate, to sit for some moments and witness where we are in our lives. The "times" are changing, fast. Our expectations of life have started to shift into a whole new rhythmic pattern, and the pace of this shift is gathering speed. The calendar year into which we are entering promises to rattle many of our established ideas of how we perceive our world and open us up to experience an entirely new reality. We now have an opportunity to align ourselves with our own particular intentions; to ask: "what do we want?", what do we want for ourselves as individuals, our family, our world? Are we able to align ourselves with the movements of the times? Can we expand our consciousness to draw to ourselves the growth and abundance that these times offer? When we can answer these questions appropriately, we are taking part consciously in a Silent Revolution. In this article, we look at the Design charts and planetary movements for 2007 to the dramatic potentials that are offered to us.
At
the turn of midnight on January 1st, 2007, from the International Date
Line in the Pacific Ocean to Japan, China and to the Middle East, we
have a Splenic "Manifesting" Design chart (58-18, 28-38 and 57-20) with
a Logic Mental definition (63-4). At the turn of midnight on January
1st, 2007, from an imaginary line running North and South in Syria in
the Middle East, to Europe and the Americas as far as an imaginary line
running North and South through New Mexico in the USA, the Moon, relative
to the Earth has moved into and through Gate (Hexagram) 16, making a
new definition 16-48, opening the energetic "stream" of "Taste" and
"Mastery" 58-18, 48-16. The Design chart is still a "Splenic" Manifesting Design chart and includes the defined Channels, 28-38 and the 63-4. From the imaginary line running North and South through New Mexico and to the West, including Hawaii and continuing Westwards to the International Date line, the Moon, relative to the Earth, has moved from Gate (Hexagram) 16 to Gate (Hexagram) 35, which triggers another Manifesting Design chart, however this one is Emotionally powered through the defined Channel 35-36.
In the world of people, there is a population of about 12% who by their Design, are "Manifestors." They are the ones who have a continuing motivation in their Design chart, to "do" and keep on "doing." The rest of us, for the most part, have a slightly more erratic means of getting things done in our lives. We are constrained to wait for circumstances to draw us in to action, at least for the easiest means of getting things "done." Consequently, when we find ourselves in a "Manifesting" year, we are quite easily thrown for a loop. We find ourselves busier than ever, trying to make decisions for ourselves in situations where there is a rush to completion. 2007 is a year in which many people are going to find themselves in situations where they are literally going to "burn out," unless...
Avoiding Burnout There are many obvious ways of dealing with stress: one can think of taking a vacation or changing jobs or responsibilities, but even in seeking to avoid the presumably stressful instances in our lives, we are still going to encounter stress in smaller things. The only way for us to find lasting relief from stress is to shift our perspectives on life.
It is time, right now, to take charge of one's own preventative health situation and create a wellness program. Meditation is going to be seen as one of the "medications" of these times. When we are alert, the times of greatest stress are the times in which to find the deepest stillness within ourselves.
The World Scene and the Planetary Transits Jupiter, the planet that brings expansion into our lives, coincides its presence with Pluto, the planet that signifies regeneration after sometimes dramatic collapse. Jupiter, in its movements for most of the year, goes through a period of waiting for us to reestablish our own natural timing (Gate/Hexagram 5). It will encourage us all to reattune with our Universe through relating with all living things. Jupiter then transits through Gate (Hexagram) 26, where it reminds us of those aspects of our lives where we find our successes through our perseverance, and comes to line up with Pluto, which has been coursing backwards and forwards through Gate (Hexagram) 11, the Gate that holds the Ideas of a wholesome life that we would convey to others through teaching. With Pluto in Gate 11, where it has moved about slowly for the past year, it is no wonder that Global Warming, Organic Produce, Alternative Health Care, Peace (or "Un-war"), Accountable Politics, Sustainable Energy and other issues have become an obvious focus in our lives as we see that the regular way of blindly proceeding "as usual" at this time is mostly destructive. When Pluto and Jupiter align their energies in December 2007, we will watch as Jupiter breaks open the doorway to new levels of personal and global accountability that will take place throughout 2008 and 2009 at the same time that Pluto challenges all of our outmoded survivalist (no-longer-relevant, staying-the-course) behavior patterns.
Saturn, in its movements, brings us towards a closer recognition of
our world-connectedness. Sometimes it looks like we will never learn
how to get along with each other, even though we are all so obviously
related. Saturn moves through Gate (Hexagram) 4, in which we all explore our potential "quick-fix" solutions to problems confronting us. In late March, as Saturn transits back through Gate (Hexagram) 7, questions of competence in leadership will resurface in all the areas of our lives that are under stress. By late May, solutions to the inadequacy of previous leadership abilities will start finding resolution, and when Saturn enters Gate (Hexagram) 29 in late July, a quickly broadening avenue of resolutions will be implemented. When Saturn enters Gate (Hexagram) 59 in early September, we arrive at the possibility of breaking down many of the self-imposed barriers that keep us apart from each other. Towards the end of the year of 2007, as Saturn moves backwards and forwards through Gate (Hexagram) 40, we are confronted by all the issues around true liberation and the eternal question of whether we have to struggle to attain liberation, or can we simply allow ourselves to be free. Uranus, the planet of our Aquarian Age, through its movements in Gate (Hexagram) 63, niggles us more and more to suspect that what we have been accepting as fact needs to be challenged. So much of the world's ways are hinged on belief systems that are supported so strongly by one politic, religion, dogma or another that they almost appear to be real. 2007 is a great year for shattering nonsensical beliefs for once and for all. Just because someone states something emphatically does not for a moment imply that they are stating truth. Truth is always an inside job. Truth is up to the Individual. Uranus, between May and September, as it enters and leaves Gate (Hexagram) 22, reminds us of the perfected Grace that surrounds the life of each individual being. Neptune, the planet of the High Priestess, the mystical and the barely knowable, is transiting through Gate (Hexagram) 49, the Gateway of Revolution. It is for Neptune that I have entitled the article "A Silent Revolution." The greatest revolution for any Human Being takes place inside them. During 2007 and 2008, we are going to see a rush of experiences in the realms of the fantastic, the mystical and mythical. The bounds of our conceptions of possibilities are going to be strained. Ruts that we have implemented as the pathways through our lives are going to evaporate.
Neptune fudges the apparent boundaries between what we perceive as possible
and what is reality.
