Dear
Rev. Sherri,
I would love to know how I can find my "purpose/calling"
in life. I have read many articles and several books on this topic,
but still feel lost when it comes to knowing what I am "good"
at.
Thanks,
A.S.
Dear A.S.,
FINDING
OUR PERSONAL CALLING in life can seem like our greatest challenge.
We are told as children we can be or do anything we desire. Somewhere
along the way we grow up and forget those wonderful messages and before
we realize it we are looking around only to see a stack bills, a car
that needs new tires and a fridge that needs groceries. This can leave
us feeling that life has gotten in the way of living.
My suggestion would be to sit with your thoughts - deeply, consider
what used to bring you joy,
passion and fill you with excitement as a child. This will help guide
you to remembering your soul's knowledge. There are many qualities that
may present themselves, work with these concepts and explore how they
can be used in your daily and work life as an adult. It is not about
being "good" at something as much as it is about finding what brings
you pleasure.
Remember, your purpose is to be you and you are doing that perfectly.
As you connect to your forgotten passions you will find more aspects
of this perfect self emerge. Allow it to come - know it will be there
- it has never left you.

Dear Rev. Sherri,
I wanted to know after a loved one passes on, do we get signs from
our loved ones right away or does it take a while?
Ivette
Dear Ivette,
This
is a wonderful question and one that comes up frequently. When a loved
one passes, those who are still here on the physical plane feel the
pain and anguish of the loss. We may understand and accept that they
are in a better place and are "home" but it does not take the pain away.
When the spirit / soul leaves the body, all time and space are removed.
What weeks and months are for us are only moments on the spiritual plane.
All the while we may be anxiously waiting to shown a sign, a dream,
any message from our loved one; it may feel like it will never arrive.
Spirit works in unique and varied ways when connecting with us. We tend
to have expectations on what we will see, how it will feel or what form
the message from our loved ones will take. In these events, we often
overlook the messages being given to us right before our eyes.
Many
people will experience dreams of their loved ones, but since it's in
a dream state, it may not be recognized as a "sign". I feel it's truly
more than a sign, it's a reconnection, only happening in a non-dimensional
realm.
There are other ways they connect, you may have family gatherings where
photos are being taken and orbs appear - this is a sign. Odd occurrences
may happen in your home with things being misplaced, when clearly you
knew where they were located, photos being relocated, these too can
be a signs.
Never underestimate the power of love. Our souls are only love. They
do not leave the body and leave us behind. They are present, even if
we don't see the signs.

Dear Rev. Sherri,
As we approach 2012 all indications are the veil is being lifted between
our current 3D world and the next 4D experience. What are the first
signs human beings will experience so they can recognize they are
indeed consciously experiencing 4D.
Thanks,
James
Dear James,
You
ask a very good question and there are many varied thoughts on 2012
but I feel that in terms of your question it's more about the awakening
people are experiencing as we move forward spiritually towards a turning
point in our lifetime. 2012 has many theories and speculations surrounding
its Winter Solstice date and they range from the end of a cycle to the
end of the world.
As
people begin expand their consciousness, they will begin replacing fear,
anger, resentment and doubt with trust, love, peace and faith. This
will be a clear sign that they are emerging from a third dimensional
reality to the fourth dimensional reality.
People, places and things may also take a different connection to those
who are experiencing this energetic shift. People may be drawn to be
closer to loved ones, letting issues of the past be in the past and
with unspoken words releasing old wounds. Career choices may also be
reflected in this emergence as well as changes in hobbies or desires.
New passions and interests will surface and invoke new and creative
endeavors.
These changes will feel good; they will be made in a space of inner
knowing. There will a state of peace, comfort and trust. These are the
types of feelings that will embody those who embark on the journey of
expanded consciousness from the 3D to the 4D.
