WHEN I WANDER my own way as I do now...
I never feel more alive than when I have the camera in my hand,
and I kiss the sky at dawn!
It is then that I lie beneath imaginary worlds and I listen to the light
that burns the clouds and turns the sky into porcelain!
I had to share this magnificent view of the Texas sky with you!
It is probably the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen!
L U C I D D R E A M
SEEK YOUR KNOWLEDGE from the strangest places,
Seek understanding from the strangest situations,
See the truth even in the imitations.
Seek love from the strangest of avenues,
There is but one love with thousands of points of view,
For it sees through you as it sees you through.
Seek yourself from the strangest outlook,
The whole world is your kitchen when you're the cook.
Most of the you you know now is but a page in your book.
Write yourself as the King not a rook,
Read yourself as a river not a brook,
Seek yourself from the strangest outlook.
M O N O L I T H
I was suspended above the earth in awe as I looked at this
monolith in the Yucatan peninsula off the coast of Mexico.
I knew then that the world around us is a work of art!
S T A R F I S H
My friend, the starfish, was waving to me from the sand,
"it's time" he says, "time to leave the aura of one life
for the shadow of another!"
No one can capture the light that turns the sky into an extraordinary reality!
Perhaps beauty is reality's reminder of immortality!
M I R R O R O F T H E S U N
I must confess, I cannot get enough of beauty.
When she dances in front of my eyes, I am compelled to celebrate
life with her every move.

Born in 1952 in El Salvador, Central America, Bernardo Medina graduated from the school of Architecture at the University of Houston in 1975, and has been residing in Texas ever since. He has a small
