January 3 marks the anniversary of Dr. Hurtak's unique experience that lead him to the writing of The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch®. [www.keysofenoch.org. Since that time, Dr. Hurtak and his wife Desiree have been teaching and working with this information, showing where science and spiritual philosophy come together to reveal not only our past, but also out future.

Dr. J.J. Hurtak, Ph.D is a social scientist, futurist and founder along with his wife Desiree Hurtak, MS. Sc. of The Academy For Future Science, based in six countries including South Africa and Brazil. Dr Hurtak is the author of The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch® as well as numerous other books including his most recent work co-authored with Russell Targ entitled End of Suffering Fearless Living in Troubled Times. He is former professor at California State University, Northridge and California State University, Los Angeles. His graduate degrees are from the University of California (Ph.D) and the University of Minnesota (Ph.D). Dr. Hurtak has published numerous technical papers and books and has presented his scientific research before the Academy of Science, Moscow, and the Academy of Science, Beijing.
 
Desiree Hurtak is an environmentalist and public policy expert who has worked extensively in developing countries to bridge the gap between ancient cultures with an eye towards introducing both new technologies and at the same time helping to maintain cultural uniqueness within the larger global society.

The Hurtaks have travelled throughout the world and continue to work closely with many indigenous people, including the Zulu Shaman Credo Mutwa and the Xavante Indians (Brazil). They have also done extensive research in Egypt and are currently involved with exploratory research in the Yucatan using acoustic technologies in the ancient pyramids and temples of the Mayan peoples, incorporating sacred music and ancient expressions.
