CRAFTING THIS MONTH'S COLUMN I drew inspiration from Teresa
Moorey’s words, ‘We use the Sun to measure the years and
days of our conscious actions, but the Moon is the ‘clock of our
instincts.’ The Moon can show us the way to feel connected and
joyful, if we listen to her rhythms. By observing the Moon and her rhythms
we can more readily connect with the Earth, and with our own bodies…
We can also connect with our inner rhythms that have been repressed
by the routine of work. We can get to know ourselves better and, if
we are lucky, glimpse something that will fill us with wonder and a
sense of meaning… it’s just a matter of opening up, tuning
in, drawing back the curtains and letting the Moon shine in.’
JUNE
2005
New Moon Visualizations: I want to experience more fun in my life. I want to expand my network of contacts. I want to become more thorough in my work and follow through my projects to the end. I want all my communications to be clear and hassle-free. I want to live in harmony with my neighbours. Home & Garden – If you are planning to move house, try to do so before June 20th. The best days would be the 10th/11th and 17th/18th. This quarter is the optimal time to sow and tend plants that bear their produce externally and, is also best for pruning and cutting, as plants are stronger and will therefore recover from being cut. This is the time for fertilizing and feeding anything we wish to flourish. The best planting days are the 8th & 9th to sow plants and flowers for hardiness and abundance; and for watery vegetables and fruit. Pruning is most effective if undertaken on the 10th-13th. Mind, Body & Health – We can use this productive time to direct our efforts towards health projects that emphasize renewal. Business/Financial

or enter new stages in projects already underway. It favours catching
up on correspondence and introducing new ideas.
