Hope For the Flowers by Trina Paulus
In the tale, the heroes, Stripe and Yellow, want something more from life than eating and growing
bigger. They get caught up in a "caterpillar pillar", a squirming mass of bodies, each determined to
reach a top so far away it can't be seen. Finally disillusioned, they discover that the way for
caterpillars to find their particular "more", who they really are, is to enter the cocoon and "...risk for a
butterfly."
In 1992, Neale Donald Walsch was nearing 50 and feeling less than happy with his life--his four
marriages had failed, his relationships with his kids were spotty, his health was poor, and he'd just
lost his job. In frustration he dashed off an angry letter to God. As Walsch describes in the two
bestselling volumes of Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, God answered back in
a personable, colloquial voice.
In this instructional work, world-renowned channel, seminar leader, sacred site guide, and author Lyssa
Royal explores the global shift in consciousness, the inner workings of the human psyche, and the
nature of reality in a way that inspires readers to bring more happiness, fulfillment, and
self-empowerment into their lives

Illusions
by Richard Bach
But if there were required reading, I'd have to nominate this book for first on the list.
It is a fast, engaging read. It's not a comedy, but you'll laugh. It's not a tearjerker, but you'll probably cry. It's just a story about
two guys bumming around the midwest, selling rides in their biplanes. But one of them has a history of working miracles, and
they both have some wonderful insights to share.
It made me cry the first time I read it and I still have trouble making it to the last page without a tear. By far the best parable teaching the art of giving I have ever come across.
"A must-read for parents !"
