As a 32 year old Crystal, I have
a very young outlook on life!

Hello Sharyl,

My name is J and I was just recommended to visit the Crystal Children site. I read the article that describes what a Crystal Child is and what traits they possess. Well, while reading this, I broke down a couple of times into a sobbing cry. I have always felt those things that were described in the article, and I know now that I am a Crystal Child.

I just recently bought some crystals and was so amazed and felt this harmonious union when I was in this shop of crystals. I also bought this crystal at a rummage sale and one day I was cleansing it in the sun and it dropped off the window sill and a small piece about the size of a pea broke off. Well, in the last year I have had so many miraculous things happen in such harmony that life has been hard for me.

I have always felt very different from the humans on this planet and am so sensitive to everything that often I feel sick and depressed . I have had a long history of depression (although this may just be that I am sensitive to everything ) including sexual and relationship dysfunctions (fear of commitment). Although I long for a mate, all my life I have self-sabotaged my desires with suppression and abuse, making a commitment to women and relationships very hard. This has resulted in depression and withdrawal from sex. Although I have had healthy relationships in the past and healthy sex, this last year has been very numbing and I have sought out an energy healer to clear some of this energy. These last few weeks have been very hard and I have been at a low with my energy and felt very numb, so last night before I went to bed I went to my altar and grabbed that small piece of crystal and held it to my third eye and set an intent for healing while I slept. Then a thought came to me to swallow the pea sized crystal and set the intent that while I consumed it, it would give me the positive healing and energy I needed. As it passed through me it would fill up with the negative energies that have been bringing me down.

I have also been thinking of contacting a healer by the name of Harold McCoy who started the Ozark Research Institute and book a remote healing session with him. Well, I called and talked with a lady and she recommended your site, and here I am, typing you an email. Very ironic, and I feel as though by listening to my intuition (which is very strong) I was led to the site and the article. I have been told that I am a star child and that makes sense now, considering a shining crystal resembles a star. I feel with this new day of discovery that I can now find the deep healing that I need. I feel blessed to have read the article.

Although I am 32 I have a very young outlook on life. When I felt at my highest vibration, I felt almost superhero strengths and powers. I have always followed my heart and this world and its imbalance crushes me. When I hear of violence and war and hardship, I feel this could shift and that we could reach a new paradigm for the human race.

I am multi-talented and just this summer have broken my 14.25 Portland city blocks wheelie record on my 1962 Schwinn Corvette pedal bike. My new record is 18 city blocks, a great feat for a 32-year-old kid. I also play music and design clothes, make custom belts and sell and collect vintage clothing on Ebay. Recently I have cut my dreadlocks (a very powerful process of spirituality in itself) off that I had for over 8 years and which were down past my waist, another miraculous journey and change that took place within this summer. I have always had this bright blond hair since I was a little kid and it has stayed with me up until now. I feel blessed and feel it’s a special quality of mine.

There is so much I could talk about but this email is getting long. I have included my # and a couple pics with dreadlocks and the new me without. I will also be sending you a miraculous story that I hope you read and if at all possible please respond to. It’s how my life works when I am vibrating at my highest, so again, thanks for the article and I am glad that it found me.

It always makes my day when someone is especially touched by that particular article as it is my favorite. I wrote it in hopes that you elder crystals would not feel so alone.

I love your pictures. One of my twin daughters has dreadlocks and the other just cut hers after years.

I also read your story about the miracle of your guitar. You know, I have a 29-year-old Crystal son who is what I call "serendipitous" like that also. In addition, he is a clothing designer and sells vintage clothing on Ebay, mostly double RL and Levis.

The wisest words that I can give you are to continue what you are doing, following your passion. You are here to show us how not to compromise on this in our lives; to show us focus, commitment, passion, and success in following our hearts. In so doing, you show us creativity and beauty.

Can you tell me more about differences
between an Indigo and Crystalline?

My name is C. I'm emailing you because I was wondering if you could tell me more about indigos.

I've done some research on indigos, and "crystallines", and am very interested to learn more. From what I've read crystallines, and crystal children are basically the same but the age range doesn't fit. In your article you say that the crystal children are being born in the new millennium, but crystallines are said to be roughly somewhere between 16 and 22. I was wondering if maybe there's a difference between the two even though the names are so similar?

Your letter illustrates one of the problems that results from a lot of "cooks in the kitchen"! Many people are getting a lot of information on the new children with each one's personal filter interpreting and naming things just a little bit differently. Steve Rother, who channels the Group, was actually the first to name and publish information on The Children of Crystal Vibration. You can find this information in the Beacons of Light section at www.lightworker.com as well as in our own archives here on PLW. Steve differentiates between the Indigos and Crystal children, at least in part, by degrees of sensitivity. The Indigos are a bit more "in your face," as they are the Systems Busters. The Crystals are the Peacemakers, - very vulnerable and very sensitive.

I am sure that the terms Crystal and Crystalline refer to the same group of new children. At the time of this writing there are very few, if any, pure Crystal Children on the planet. I know that some people put an age range on the children, but that has never really worked for me, as I am aware of Elder Crystals of all ages. That said, however, there are more Crystal Children being born in recent years than Indigo Children. Now, are you thoroughly confused?

It is really not very beneficial to try to split these hairs too finely. Let it be sufficient to read the lists of attributes, whether Crystal or Indigo, and see what you feel you relate to.

Lee Carroll and Jan Tober have a list of Indigo Attributes in their book Indigo Children. I have published lists of Crystal Attributes in many places, and the most recently and easily accessible is available at http://www.crystalchildren.com/.

My 17 year old son needs a counselor
in West Virginia, can you please help?

Thank you so much for your contributions. It is always so wonderful to read your articles and letters. They allow me to leave the details behind for a moment and just connect.

I am writing because I have a son who will be 17 in a couple of months and I see him sliding off the deep end. He is Indigo and becoming more and more disconnected from our family and himself. I would like to find a professional for him to talk to, but am not sure there is anyone around here, (north central West Virginia), that has the skills needed to deal with him on an Indigo level. Do you have a way of finding counselors in different areas?

You know, at this time, we do not have a venue set up for connecting the right counselor to the right family. We have talked about it at www.childrenofthenewearth.com, and it is going to happen in the very near shortly, but it is not available just yet. If you sign up for the free newsletter at www.childrenofthenewearth.com, though, we will be announcing this new facility there as soon as it is up and running.

Meantime, do you have a new age newspaper in your area? Do you have a new age bookstore? Have you looked within the list of Circles of Light at www.circlesoflight.com to see if there are any groups meeting in your area that might know of a referral for you? Ask and ye shall receive! That is one thing that I believe. When it is time and I have asked, the resource appears, so ask, and then keep your eyes and ears open.
