| Dear Sharyl, Wonderful story of Trevor, thank you for sharing and being a guide to those who have need. I am a 40 yr mother of 2 girls, both loud Leo's! Biological daughter 6 years old and adopted daughter through foster care who is 2 years of age. I taught preschool and special needs for 15 yrs, became a mother and decided to stay home. When Courtney was 1 1/2 years I decided to start a home daycare as I missed the children so much. After 2 years I wanted to become a foster parent for Children's Aid. When my family was ready and we all wanted to be a foster family, we applied and 6 months later after interviews and training we began foster. That was 5 yr ago and we still love it. Since Courtney was born we always knew she was different. We would be in a restaurant and strangers would come over to say they had to see the baby. They would stare at each other, she would smile, then the people would leave thanking us for the opportunity!!! Then we had people who were clairvoyant say that she is an old soul returning to us. As she grew she became more intense and pushed me over the edge emotionally, then sat there and watched me in despair. I thought, "How come am I falling apart, why can't I do this??? With my background this should be easy!!! HAHAHA! At that time I was not aware of the Indigo children. I was reading the SPIRITED CHILD, which made sense in some ways, but there was something missing. I was on a healing journey which linked me up with Reiki and reflexology as well as yoga and meditation. These avenues brought me to the knowledge of the Indigo children. I linked up with web sites to look for information, and my reiki master gave me a lot of information about these amazing children. Then came the INDIGO CHILDREN book. My daughter says I am the best Indigo MAMA in the world!! It is not easy, but I work at it. My husband is very grounded and has difficulty understanding, but he has come a long way to where he is now. The little one we adopted through foster care is Indigo, a combination of the indigo blue and the magenta. She was a drug baby so she has delays in her speech, which really frustrates her, so I added sign language and a picture board for her to communicate with, and she is much happier now. She understands everything, but has difficulty expressing it verbally. When I do my meditation, my guides speak with me advising me on my life Direction. They say that I need to work with the indigo children and their families. The job seems like a mountain at times. I go places where I don't know people and strangers come up to me asking me questions about the indigo children?? I swear I must have a neon sign on my head that only they see. I am in the process of putting together workshops, which will begin in the spring of 2002 at two wellness centres. I will work out of my home for the paper work, but work at the centre for consultations and therapies: tuning forks, EMF, reiki, reflexology and information. This is my life long dream: to work with children. To speak for them when no one is listening. The foster children I see coming through my door (we take on babies who have "failure to thrive" syndrome) are misunderstood indigo children. I will be making a proposal to Children's Aide to do workshops for foster families to help them understand their own children as well as their foster children and stop the drugging and negative energy. In Canada there is only one man in Quebec that I am aware of who is teaching about the indigo children. A lot is being done in the US but not much here. I would love to communicate with you if you have the time. My latest foster child is a 2 1/2 month old girl who does not want to drink. She is still in the hospital after 2 weeks. Although they have poked and prodded her, they have no answers. I have worked over her and she is turning around, as she wanted to go back where she came from. This job looked too big for her. I keep sending her the love and the light, and she now smiles for me. Those are the pieces of gold that I strive for, to make a difference in a little one's world. Love and light to all of those who choose to stand before the light, Dianne Labelle ECE.C Hello Dianne: What can I say? You have moved me to tears. You are correct about your latest foster child not being sure if she is going to stay here, but you have now given her something to consider. We will include her in our meditation and prayer group for whatever is in the highest good of all. I am very interested in your ideas about working with the foster care system to increase awareness. Actually I want to know just how you plan to proceed as we may want to share your process with others. I may even decide to do something about it here in Seattle. So, yes, please do stay in touch. Love and blessings, Sharyl Dear Sharyl, First of all, I just want to say, that I am one of the 2000 Indigo children, brought to this earth in order to make it into a peaceful world again. I'm an 18 year old male, and my mission here has been given to me and I intend to fulfill it. I came across your webpage by coincidence, when I checked out a Spanish website about our race. Why do I classify us differently? Because we have a higher understanding and we try to help our brothers and sisters to a better world. I have been given a very high responsibility (In the range of Computers, etc.) in order to help us. Hopefully, with the help of my 2000 brothers and sisters, we shall have an end to war, poverty, hunger, and sickness once and for all. I'm looking for Indigos of the same age, with whom I can exchange ideas, and I was wondering if your webpage could help me in doing so. I wish us all well in our missions, whatever they shall be, and in about 5-7 years, we will all see each other. Blessings, soulpriest@hotmail.com Greetings: We are very pleased that you have found us, and want to thank you for writing. I do have a couple of questions: You say that there are only 2000 Indigo children on the planet?? Or are there 2000 who are part of your particular piece of the mission? And your mission is somehow to do with technology, specifically computers? Can you give us any more details? Please feel free to post on our new message board and check out the links for other email groups to correspond with. Love and blessings, Sharyl Dear Sharyl, Of course, you have my permission to publish the "article" of mine. :) I have spoken with many wise men, and according to them, there are 2000 Indigo Children, who are destined to help this world of ours to come towards world peace, mostly by the means of Technology & Medicine. In my case, it's with computer security, more than that I cannot say as of yet. As of this moment, I've heard there are only 2000 Indigos, though this changes everyday with the birth of more Indigos. You need to be aware that the human race is changing from the aryan race to Indigos. I will be able to give more details, after I have spoken once again with the wise men who guide me throughout this world of ours. Yours Sincerely, Soul Dear Sharyl: Now what do I do? He is 15, fits ALL aspects ever listed about Indigos. Now he won't go to school and only wants to work, and I think I'll let him. He just doesn't fit into the system established today. He has all the answers that quite frankly make sense. Nothing "normal" of course. Suggestions? He always shares about things he sees and how things are, but ought to be, all making sense. I am torn between conventional, "get an education" then do the rest. I of course 'fear' for him. Regards, Ann Dear Ann: Wise and good mother you are! Other than tell him of your fears for him and try to come up with a solution with him that works for him in relationship to school, you are right. If he won't go to school, what are you going to do about it? I had one like that, and I gotta tell you, I have a Master's degree and was a teacher for a number of years, so it never even occurred to me that I could have a child who wouldn't do school. Well, I did!!! She just plain would not go, she hated it, it was stupid, she refused to take all of those tests and when the principal forced her to take a test, she just marked any old box. Since it was a small school, her horrible score had great affect on the school's score. The principal screamed at her in the halls saying she had let everybody down and hurt all of the Afro-American students average test score, etc. etc. My daughter never went back. That was many years ago, and that daughter is one of the loveliest humans I know. She moved out when she was very young, not because she was unhappy at home, quite the contrary. She thought her life had been too perfect and she needed to experience the world. So I had to let go, and I did not know where she was sleeping sometimes, or if she had food. I later found out that she didn't always have food!! This daughter is now 22, has been at the same job for several years, is back in school with a 4.0 doing it in her way and her time. She also came back home, so she could afford to work part time and go to school. She has a presence and a wisdom that few 50 year olds have. I tell you all of that to say that I know of your agony because I have been there. I will not tell you what to do, because these decisions are very personal. I do believe that you are a good and wise mother, and you will do what is in your and your son's best interests. I strongly suspect that you have raised him well as I knew I had my daughter. Therefore, it just has to turn out perfect. My blessings to both of you, Sharyl Thanks, Sharyl, for you immediate response............ Sometimes we just don't have choices, we just need to go with the God given wisdom we all have (and don't always use). Our society doesn't help us much with challenges of the soul and the ol' stand by always helps, "go within". Even though, I have gotten a little crazy (and depressed) over the challenges involving Matt, I am getting through it. We have tried everything since 5th grade that includes, Ritalin and another ADD drug, none of which effected him in the least, and that admitted by him......he said maybe it effected his concentration for an hour a day. We tried different schools, different tutors, different sports, different places to live and now we are in AZ and he is working for a 24-year old who cleans lime off pool walls. He adores this guy (finally has a mentor, as he doesn't have a father, he respects and hardly knows and is not a part of his life.) This guy too struggled in school, finally made it to college and "blew that too" and now his own business is doing extremely well. Matt sees how it can be done without an education and this is enough for him. He came home last night all excited about them being contracted for three pools a day for the next five days....he was lit up like a Christmas tree....So......I suppose when you see the soul light up like that it is hard to still try to make them do it "the way" accepted. I am not a religious person but I do have a closeness with a God of my understanding and read spiritually daily....couldn't live without it after doing so for so many years. Matt too says he talks to God. We went through smoking pot, stealing and lying.........ways out of the norm only (I hope)........ Now I will try it his way and work on unconditional love and know that no matter what, God IS working in Matt's life too. For those struggling with children like these, like ours, I would suggest an Alanon program and teaches one to detach WITH LOVE better than any organization I know. And it is FREE. I would like to be a part of a support system for "letting go" which I know doesn't always work out.......but are we the ones to say what destiny it is for anyone, even ourselves. Thanks and God Bless, Ann (Allan) Hello Sharyl: I am on a mission. Having just finished only a portion of The Indigo Child, and hoping to read much more, I know that I have work to do in the area of making things easier for Indigos. I believe that I am a precursor Indigo, being 35 and having experienced much of what you said about the precursor group. Now I know what I am to do, but not exactly how yet. I am a bridge to help humanity through the changes that will become apparent in coming times. I am trying to make contacts with people all over who are interested in achieving peace and helping not only indigo children but all children live with their lives fully free and knowing who they are. I believe that these connections are important because, even if people do not choose to actively help in the changes, they help energetically by their presence and interest and even more so by strengthening the connections of the web. I was very excited to find your webpage and look forward to hearing from you sometime. I am feeling somewhat alone at the moment, but I know that I am not. Namaste, Happy Holiday, Ann Baka Hello Ann in Toronto: Wonderful to hear from you! I would like to use your letter in my Letters to Sharyl section if that is okay with you. May I include your email address also in case there are readers who want to contact you? I also suggest that you post an invitation for such correspondence on our Children of the New Earth message board http://www.planetlightworker.com/indigokids/messageboard/cne1.html You can also follow some of our links to other gathering places for Indigos. In addition have you checked out our Circles of Light section at www.lightworker.com? I believe there is a Toronto group that you might hook up with to start making connections. http://www.lightworker.com/CirclesOfLight/circles.php3 All in all, you are absolutely correct about creating the connections, because ultimately they lead to permanent pathways of light. Thanks for writing and many blessings to you, Sharyl |
