It is with great joy that I see you are located in Seattle. My husband and I are parenting an Indigo child and have just found out our second daughter is Crystal Indigo. This weekend we participated (for the first time) at the Wesak festival in Mt. Shasta. While there we befriended many people, among whom was a young Indigo woman. She did some information gathering for us and is the one who pointed out our oldest was surely indigo as was the youngest although she was crystal indigo.

We have no idea what a Crystal Indigo is and were wondering if you could shed some light on the issue.

For the record our eldest daughter is doing marvelously. She has educated us well and we have responded appropriately. The three of us are now on a wondrous journey. It has been hard and challenging to get us here but she now expresses a strong desire to learn more about being on earth. For the longest time it was so difficult to keep her here. She would always be journeying above, as the outer worlds and her imagination were her retreat and haven. As you may imagine it scared us. Although we have yet to hit the puberty years (she is 11) we have amazing communication and she is completely committed to the earth and doing her work (whatever it is) here. She understands that she must achieve here and is looking for guidance from all sources so she may do this.

So now we have received word that our youngest daughter (she is 9) is also indigo but of the crystal variety. YIKES! What is that? She and her sister are different as day and night so this was quite a surprise. We also have a great relationship with her but it is completely different as her needs are completely different. Again, any insights as to what is known would be greatly appreciated. We now know that a heads up to what may come can prevent some steep learning curves. Thank you.

Dear Teresa,

I have never actually heard the term Indigo Crystal, but I think I know what she is talking about. If you go into the archives of PlanetLightworker, I have written a couple of times about the Children of the Crystal Vibration, as has Steve Rother. Also you might want to go to a site www.auracolors.com and check out the crystal life color, although it is not exactly the same, there are enough similarities to help you.

I have a son Trevor who could be called an Indigo Crystal. They are the peacemakers, where the Indigos are the systems busters. They are not as sturdy in general as the Indigos...there is a fragility to them, a great sensitivity to all kinds of energies. They have a deep and abiding understanding, a reserve, quietude, and a gentleness. Earth is very difficult for them energetically, and if not born into a family that recognizes their need for gentleness, a great deal of time alone, their own personal space, etc. they have a very difficult time staying on the planet. It is very easy for them to become unbalanced, to the point of depression. I realize that all of these things apply to Indigos also, which is why I shy away from labels. Suffice it to say that the Crystals are even more finely tuned; a bit higher vibration.

Impeccable parenting is the key to all the children… parenting as if each is a perfect being sent from God. Truly there are basics that apply to all relationships!

Good Morning Sharyl,

I enjoyed your article on Discipline of Children, especially the section on the Indigo Children. I also have a son who is Indigo, who did not achieve balance until I addressed my own anger.

I have a couple of books in the market place and have been writing for Personal Growth Mag here in Brisbane Australia for four years on relationships, personal growth and the importance of acknowledging and bringing into balance ALL our emotions. I agree that these children and most sensitive people pick up on the external energies...At the moment I find whenever I go out into the malls I come home really exhausted and need to lay down and I sleep so deeply as the energies are released. It seems to have stepped up of late... it wasn't always like that.

I specialize in emotional release work and find that more parents and even the Indigo children are seeking my work. Last September I began to create some very unusual drawings, as it turned out they were Emotional Release Templates ~ the energy coming in from the Galactic regions. I had thought when I reached 44 I had finished...but no! Another 10 came in for the Indigo children.

I will be putting all this together with healing music and certain Essential Oils as evening presentations. I had for such a long time been requesting a method that would allow people to release these deep core emotions simplistically and without struggle as most ran a mile from even dealing with anything that even represented emotion. This is the result. I am also putting together a LIFE MANUAL as a support method for those who need such.

Anyway I just felt to make contact with you... to tell you I appreciated your style of writing, easy to read and to the point and informative.
